I went to Walmart yesterday for half price chocolate and they had NONE!!! they do this way too much-not fair!!!! was looking forward to some chocolate deals. oh well. I have to go in again this morning and I will check other places.

I had the same thing happen here! Not a single valentine's chocolate to be had in a whole mall! Guess I should have been up at the crack of dawn, waiting for the doors to open. I can see it now - forget Boxing Day, let's have a line up to get in & get cheap chocolate.

The sugar free chocolates have come a long way since I was chomping on them in the early 90s. They're actually quite yummy.

I would rather eat the real thing. I can have a small piece once in a while, I just can't eat a whole bar at once. My glucose is actually well under control at this time. I only went over 7.0 once in the last 10 days which is fantastic since I only started on medication 3 weeks ago. It was 7.2 and it was probably because I ate my snack a little later in the afternoon than usual.

DH, so glad things are going so well for you.

Even though I got awesome chocolates from my husband for V-Day, we are still working on Hallowe'en chocolate bars, and have barely made a dent into the Christmas chocolates.... so I won't be buying clearance V-Day chocolates, but maybe candy - jellybeans or gummies, if someone has them cheap.

ok I am laughing here for a few reasons now because this weird number keeps calling my cell phone but I love the song that is set to the unknown callers and so I leave it ring and get to enjoy the song over and over. lol but 4 times now is a little odd. it's not all right now-been over the span of a few hours. it's long distance so I will get charged if I answer it. so maybe eventually they will stop calling? lol
