I am thinking that perhaps those parasitic cowards who stole poppy boxes, serve their sentence in a foxhole all alone.....Nothing to keep them warm, dry or nourished. They are despicable & worthless people.

One guy got nabbed in downtown Toronto by two police officers who are actual veterans:
http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/crim...ppy-box-thefts
A 34-year-old Toronto man has been arrested for stealing poppy donation boxes from three downtown Tim Hortons locations, police said.
Nicholas Moorhouse was arrested around 7:50 p.m. Friday, police said.
The suspect was identified through video surveillance footage and had a poppy box in his possession when he was arrested, police said. The box contained about $50 cash.
The thefts happened between 6:30 p.m. Thursday and 10:15 a.m. Friday.
The suspect would grab the boxes off the counter and run.
The two members of the 51 Division major crimes unit who identified Moorhouse are veterans themselves, said Det. Les Rosette.
Const. Rob Romano-Peck and Const. Ed Otten served in Afghanistan and Bosnia, respectively, he said.
Moorhouse is facing three charges of theft under $5,000 and one charge of possession of property obtained by crime, Det. Rosette said.

I'm hoping he was taken on a loooong drive back to 51 Division.

Note to self: waiting until mid-November to close the pool, not good, having to break the 1/2 inch of ice off it to vacuum the leaves out of it, also not good
Having a nice big bowl of homemade corn and potato chowder to take out the chill

Chicken Wings, Chili & Nachos & great big TV screens,
Beer & armchair commentary thus begins your football dreams,
Huddling, Tackling, Kicking & Time Outs,
Unnecessary Roughness, Field Goals, & even Football scouts,
Unbalanced lines & signals & linemen who are so offensive!
Grid Irons, First & Ten & Back Ends that are defensive,
Backfields, Clotheslines, Double Fouls, & Field Position,
Kickoffs & Man to Man, roll around in Fields of Mud,
Then everyone leaps on some poor guy & they all weigh a ton,
Strategic play & interceptions & all those lines to gain,
I’ve heard that stepping out of bounds can sometimes be a pain,
Quarterbacks, Halfbacks, Safety & Receivers,
Cheerleaders shaking their pompoms for all football believers,
Whatever the weather the game goes on proline players are smiling,
They use luck, & football knowledge & the stats they’ve been compiling,
I always wish them a safe season & many happy lines of rushin’,
& please be very careful, no one needs another concussion,
A football fan, I’ll never be & that’s just the way it is,
& to all you hometown football lovers out there, I hope the Argo's find their fizz!
this has been an updated version of my football poem. May good fortune be with the Argo's today. Toronto sure could use a championship team & a new mayor would also be nice too.
