My car is so clean I will probably walk right by it. Good thing I have my little WM cowboy on the antenna. Did Dodge really have to make 34 quadragazillion dark blue vans?

hey Patty-glad you have something to identify your vehicle! We had the same thing with our car and we put one of those antenna flags on it so we could spot it better.

well the combines went till close to 11:30pm last night and then when they were packing up they were yelling stuff at each other-don't they know that we want to sleep? ugh! So I got to bed late-decided to stay up till they were finished because I can't sleep anyways and I overslept this morning because I was so tired. oooops.

it didn't used to be this way-the neighbors used to stop at a decent hour and continue the next day. Why on earth do they want to do it this way anyways?

One of my kitties is having a "bad day" today which means her breathing is not very good
I had to give her a dose of ker kitty puffer...I hope it passes soon.

Patty inspired me to do some cleaning. I even vacuumed the vacuum!!
actually it is one of those bagless ones and the filter gets clogged and I have to vacuum the filter with another vacuum. Usually someone else does that because I have asthma but I needed it done and no one was available and the air is so dusty right now anyways. it actually wasn't too bad but not something I can do regularly.

Hmmm, after a crappy summer we now have 17 days with no rain so all this sunshine has turned my pool a nice flourescent green. Went to the pool place and got algicide we'll see what happens. Off to cut my dad's hair now. Then have to get those tomaotes cooking for more sauce.

So I just talked to our farmer friend, and he said,:That's why they work that late to get it before the dew hits." Most times dew does not set until about that time. The coolest part of the night is about 3-4:00 in the morning. It's like the nature cycle sleep cycle. Most people are most tired between 2:00-4:00 or so in the morning. When I was driving truck and I did the overnight shift you saw lots of farmers doing thing till that late/early in the morning.

Good afternoon, all! Well, I'm tired of muggy weather; I'm tired of hot. It's currently 30 degrees - this is the summer we should have had in June!!!
I wish I had Patty's pool!

hmm...maybe we should have one like that? that would be nice. This one would not rinse very well.
aww-you still have heat? We cooled off today and we got some rain which I am sooooo happy about because of the amount of dust but I don't think it rained enough to affect the dust level much. I almost did the happy dance!
