I just got back from Walmart where all the sales that are supposed to start tomorrow are already on. LOL Why they do this i'll never know they were already out of the Sunlight bottle $19.97 for $9.97 we got the last one. I also picked up my FREE Brookeside chocolate which is on clearance from $2.17 to $1. Used 8 of my coupons for that. 4 dark for Mafia Momma and 4 milk chocolate almonds for us.

Also got FREE dip WUB chips and FREE Perrier. Yippie my fuse has been restored.

Just finished a memorable day - my son carried the Olympic flame!!!

I think he is the first person from our small community to carry the flame - they had a great sendoff for him - blessing of the flame, drumming, photo ops with community members, and then when the torch was lit the crowd cheered. My son is very shy but you couldnt tell today, he was grinning from ear to ear.

What a day!!!

Gee, it sounds like you are just going through so much... I hope you find some answers and a bit more peace with what you are going through.

I know what it's like to still want a mom; mine passed away when I was 35, so over a decade ago... I do have three older sisters, but it's not the same thing - though two of them can be quite helpful, one of whom has very broad shoulders if I need them!

Sorry about your mom Natalka. I'm just not talking to my mom since everything is always about her. Like when my Dad had a heart attack and suddenly she was having chest pains. My mom is toxic that way.

I went to bed super early last night...like 9:30 (I usually go around midnight)...and then I woke up at 3am and couldn't go back to sleep, kept wondering...isn't it time to get up yet? Its going to be a loooong day...thank goodness for coffee!!!

Morning all (technically it's still morning). We slept in til 9 today, until the dog couldn't wait any longer. The cat was sitting beside the bed, staring at me, waiting for the first sign that I was actually getting up, so he could scream his head off about breakfast being late. He knows better than to wake me.

It's grey, chilly & blah here. A great day to clean, if only I could find the motivation. Maybe I'll bake some cookies & bribe the dog to do the work.
