Ah, nothing like a romantic!!! (Though I chortled!)
In other news, today will be 30 degrees here - first 'summer' weather we have had since early June!
Gah, the men in the house are up to get ready for work, so I'll return here later. Very distracted by my shirtless husband...

I am on the porch drinking coffee and thinking sweet thoughts!
The only question I cannot answer... why?

The Quebec government just announced it's hiring 94 high school grads to fill the teachers shortage. Day 1 of school and I am once again already disgusted with our system.
We need a revolution and not a quiet one this time.

Wow, I'm feeling pretty grateful my son was educated here in SK, and most of my extended family has/will be, too. From my own experience going through the Separate school system, to me teaching in both the public and Separate systems (in a small town, small city, big city), to my son being in a big city Separate school division - no major problems whatsoever. And I also know it from the administrative end, as my dad was a Director of Education and my sister and brother were/are both principals.
Any bumps in the road we encountered, they are picayune compared to what I'm realizing has been going on in Ontario for years, and now I'm learning about the troubles in Quebec.
Sigh! don't know what to advise...
