I just got off the phone....I have an interview for my DREAM JOB!!!!

I submitted my application Friday and they called me today. It was a long shot that I would even get an interview, I still can't believe it. I'm going to be a nervous wreck all week. Since I am so far away they are giving me a phone interview, which can be both positive and negative at the same time.

This is huge for me. I know I can't get my hopes up but just getting the interview is a big step.

That's just awesome!!! What is it and where?

Phone interviews are just so different - make sure you are totally prepared, even write out some stuff (advantage to not having it in person). Make sure you are taking the call where there are no noises or distractions, and that where you take the call is a good line, with the phone charged. Listen carefully, and if you aren't sure of what they are asking - don't feel bad about asking them to repeat the question, or ask for more information.

Ya I did and we can see both side of the story but neither one of us want to budge.We have decided to not talk about it!!LOL!! Kinda sad but I think emotions are still very fresh and are leading everyones thoughts.We live in an old house right now(built in 1865) and I being a cabinet carpenter by trade have done a ton of work to restore and make it our home.I just hate to walk away from it all and start over renovating a 1960's style house.

Morning all!

It's going to be one of those days. Late start to the day, last minute appt with that nice mountain-climbing specialist I wrote about previously, having to run around & resend important info that got lost in the mail , then a night out at the theatre. Should be fun, if I can stay awake through the day.
