Hopefully this afternoon we'll warm up. But when I took the dog out around 7am. I was happy I had pants & a light sweater on (anything less & I would have been shivering).

I hope the heatwave gets here soon...& stays!!! Remember, I'm the crazy one that likes +40 with no a/c.

I grew up without a/c in a city where humidity is a given. What can I say?

Besides if I'm going to complain about the cold, I'd better shut up if I feel hot, or I'll get a double whammy in the winter.

Oy, those of you who love heat should have my husband! The dude doesn't even break a sweat. And here I am, we have no a/c, so there are fans in each room, and a little one above the computer because of its location -- but he would be happy with no fans and high 30s temps. I don't know how the two of us have made it these past 20+ years - in winter when he wants it warmer, that's fine because I just wear shorts and tanktops - but I tell him in summer and it's hot - I can't take off any more!

No fan. I have central air & I do have a dehumidifier (I use it when I do laundry to take excess moisture out of the air). I just keep my window (yes, I only have one, but it's a fair size) with open. Oh & I put something in front of my front door to keep the cold air from the hallway from coming in.

I told ya I was crazy.
