The critters & I slept in this morning (I guess they weren't impressed with getting up before the sun yesterday either), so now we're trying to decide what to have for breakfast. The cat wants dog food, the dog wants cat food & I'm thinking of having garlic bread, since no one's gonna smell my breath besides these 2 today...unless of course some wealthy mysterious stranger drops by with an offer I can't refuse.

Good morning! Ah, I have had garlic bread/toast/buns for breakfast!!! There's something neat about startling your mouth awake!!!
However, it feels like a toast morning, with an orange (from South Africa, my fave kind!!).
It's dull and dreary outside, so I'm not yet inspired as to what the day will bring. It's just after 8:30 and my son and husband are still asleep. And, thank goodness, the cats just settled down to sleep. Bobby the kitten was really whiny this morning, lol!!!

Since I was a kid, I've had garlic toast (rub a clove of raw garlic on toasted bread, then spread a thin layer of butter on top to keep the flavour in). This is leftover garlic bread from yesterday. Kicking myself now for forgetting to put cheese on top when I heated it up.

Wasn't going to go anywhere today, but I need groceries...now just debating whether to go to the local place and pay a premium for everything...or drive 40mins to No Frills. Kind of leaning towards No Frills.

And my laundry room looks like the Himalyan mountain range...I'm pretty sure Everest is near the dryer. Who wants to be my Sherpa?

Want me to send the dog over? One of her jobs around here is to do laundry. The only problem is she's not big on sorting colours & tends to just dump everything together. So as long as you don't mind pink underwear, she's your girl. Oh & she's cheap labour - a couple of peanut butter cookies & she'll work all day.

hmm I could try but that would require me to catch it first! lol I guess I should say he has caught a couple live mice I think for fun but he just lets them go again like he thinks they are a really cool toy that move on their own! He has never killed one and he doesn't catch a mouse unless he is really in the mood. He has only ever played with two and those poor mice! I don't think they knew what was going to happen-but we could see he had no intentions of killing them.

Is wiped out. Ran out of steam about 3pm yesterday and still haven't found anymore despite sleeping 9 hours. DS is napping, DH is out hunting trying to get us tomorrow night's dinner, so I think I may lie down for an hour or so.

Robyn I am sorry about the mountain of laundry! It's a little far for me to go to help tho. lol I am not really an able person tho so Andit's dog may actually be a better choice! If I were you-it may save money to go to No Frills despite the extra gas.
