I think I've maybe been to WM three or four times... but I've never been to Starbucks, or had one of their drinks. That usually gets a reaction out of people. No reason, just never have been...

Yumpin' yimminy it's COLD! I know, I know... we're wimps out here on the west coast. It's just so unusual to see patches of ice on the sidewalk here. On the weather channel they said that Lethbridge (my old home town in southern Alberta) set a new record... -39.5 C.

So, on that cold and icy note... I thought I would share a pic that my nephew sent me today. He's pulling his new 4 month old daughter along on a nice little jaunt to Chester Lake, somewhere in Alberta (probably west of Calgary). I presume this was from a while ago before the bitter cold snap set in.

ok Patty that was funny! so no more holdouts then? wow I can't imagine anyone not having been in Walmart! Oh for Trucks and Veevee-never been to Starbucks and never plan to-see it is really expensive and I dont drink coffee. easy decision! lol
Mcminsen (almost missed the n this time!) that pic is gorgous! what a great idea also to pull that thing that his baby is in behind like he is. That would be a great workout also. Anyways I think that is all the comments I have?

I am watching snow plows zoom by on the street below and there are what sound like ice pellets hitting my window.

Me too. The thought of paying for something that I can make at home for way less is what has turned me off of Starbucks.
