People in my apartment building annoy me to no end. The only empty washing machine looks like someone put laundry detergent in but them decided not to use the machine. I don't want to use it because I don't know what kind of detergent is in it. To make matters worse one machine is out of order I guess I will wait until 8:00pm when all the old people are asleep to do my laundry.

Nancy wait until high school. They come home with a list from each teacher so every night for the first week you have to rush out to bureau en gros to get stuff. This year I said tough luck no one is getting more than a 1 inch binder. It's insane. His first year most wanted 2 and 4 inch binders and he rippped his school bag the first week. My new motto, you get what you get.

Just finished hour 5 of a 25 hour mini series that I loved as a kid (Centennial). Perfect rainy day kind of activity. Good thing the sun came out for an hour so I could go out to see the art show. Now, it's on to hour 6.

On our local news tonight, they were using a lot of 'human interest' stories to fill time, I guess - and they had a report from another city (not ours, though it could be, I suppose) about firefighters and the houses they encounter which are loaded with hoarded junk, and how awful it is for them to have to deal with it. One firefighter said the stuff on the floor was about four feet high ALL over, so these big firefighters had to go in and crawl (eight foot ceilings) with all their equipment. They were also emphasizing how much of a fire hazard it is. Horrid!

I'm one step away from being a hoarder. That's what happens when one only has a tiny closet & no storage space. Grrr, tiny city apts!
