I'm going to be shopping in Edmonton, haven't decided which LD yet? Winkerstones, which LD were you at?
I stacked over the weekend at South Common LD with 2 identical items&same set of coupons. No problem.

I PM and stacked 2 sets of Crest toothpastes + toothbrushes + rinses at E Hastings LD. Didn't have any problem.

I actually shop at LD in Edmonton - Northtown Mall. Other staff in the past have been wonderful and friendly. Unfortunately I had to deal with two staff members (1 of which was the Manager of merchandising) that I hadn't dealt with before.

That was probably the one I was going to go too. May have to go to WEM instead...

LD reeeeeeeally needs to straighten up and fly right. They seem to be having so many different "policies" it is way to confusing for the customer.[/quote]

Totally agree. Seems everytime I go now they change the coupons rules. I do appreciate the stacking policy, but really if they make you feel uncomfortable each time not knowing what your going to get for policy it's not worth it.

Haven't had that happen but was really mad this weekend that I couldn't get my tide total care that was 20 loads price matched because the flyer that said 2x ultra or liquid tide 20-40 loads had a picture of the 2x ultra. The supervisor said its probably not on sale because total care is more expensive, yet they sell it at the same price as the rest and its only total care thats 20 loads too. Emailed them to ask if its the picture they're PM'ing now or still the print. Funny thing is she kept showing me their guarantee about PM'ing anything in print, yet wouldn't do it because of the picture and actually had the nerve to say we do enough for you coupon people already. Sorry still mad and waiting for a reply back from them.

LOL no wonder we got told the same thing - we went to the same store!! I was there on Sat around 4:30, the supervisor said they won't do it again....I'm like....if its ok this time why not next time???? Do they just make up policy as they go??? She told me it says right in the policy but she kept repeating the line "coupons must be from different media sources" so I still don't understand where that "only 1 of the same coupon allowed regardless of how many you purchase" came from. To me they don't even mean the same thing

some only price match specific items that are shown. i'd say just go to another cashier...i really wouldnt make a fuss out of it. in a way, they are doing u a favor by price matching and letting u stack coupons. technically no loss!
i'd say just wait and use it on another cashier. no need to be mad!

I have no problem stacking coupons last weekend.

Initially, the cashier rejected some of the coupons because some coupons I used twice/triple. I explained to her that I was buying 3 Swiffer Duster Kits, but only using 1 coupon to each item. Then she said ok and took all the coupons.

Hope you have no problem on your next visit.

I couldn't go to another cashier as it was the supervisor that refused me. I also live out of town and have a 6 month old baby and made a specific trip to use my May 31st coupons that I had left before they expired and I had just got more to have enough to stack with. I've PM'ed the tide quite a few times already with different ads, this was the first time I was refused. The only reason she was refusing me was because there was a picture and was being rude about it. She kept showing me their policy and according to it, I should have been able to but she told me the liquid total care did not count as liquid The cashier was going to phone them and the supervisor wouldn't let her. For me there was a loss, it was a waste of coupons, gas and time, it takes me at least 10 minutes, with no traffic, just to get to city limits not to mention the drive within the city.
If it had been a legit we can't PM that and she had been nice about it I wouldn't be mad, but when they're telling me I can't JUST because of the picture and being rude, thats not right. BTW when I complained about it I was nice, explained everything and said I want to know head offices opinion, I'm hoping to get an email stating that yes I should have been able to PM the total care so I can have it with me in case I have that problem again.
