ha ha !!! I checked ( as you suggested in your rep comment ) and mine were there too!! All 1,250 of them, so I don't have to waste time calling them about missing AM. thanks!!!
thanks for the 'like' for my organic groceries deal
Hi Molly, just got on here now and read your message but I did not go Friday ( to RCSS ) because most of my offers were blah, and we had a fridge full of things to eat still. If I do go later in the week OR next Friday (27th) I will ask if they have Best Western GC's...oh I agree about AM now, I mean why bother? They keep making it tougher to earn enough for anything worthwhile. Have a nice evening!
yep! That is the RCSS I have to go to at STC. ( I am not crazy about driving the 11-15 min to get there, but I do it right when they open and when I know I am getting good offer points ) I think the only other RCSS available to me is way the other way ( more East of me in Ajax maybe? ). I have shown the family though how these points now mean a couple of free shopping trips the next time I'm out! ( AND I love to redeem them at my NF, better value there )
I am laughing at myself for dashing to RCSS at 7:00 a.m. this morning. Wanted to PM and snag my decent PCPlus offer points before the place turned into a zoo. Scored a scop on a huge box of mangoes that scanned wrong! ( Woot! woot!) made a grand total of 25,800 points with my shop. Have a great weekend!
I see the PCPlus confusion in your posts. I think Shwa and others are saying that before you shop and experience the frustration of not getting your bonus PC points, go to CS counter ( or cashier ) and redeem however many points you choose on their GC's. Now you are ready to shop, with these GC's in hand THAT is what you will use to " pay " for your order after you have all your groceries. If you have PCplus bonus offers in that cart full of groceries they will be rewarded with no problem, however people trying to pay for their groceries with points that were already in their account, discovered that for some reason the system denies you earning the bonus points offered on that purchase. Have I made this worse or better to understand? lol
Re: Metro Bonus Air Miles Quoting you, "So FPCs count as currency with Metro? They don't at Shoppers." It works at the self check out at Metro. It may or may not work with the cashier. When you are at the self check out, the machine asks you for your Air Miles card before giving coupons to the cashier, I think. The machine records that you have spend $100. The machine records that you have "paid" $100. The payment could be either cash money or coupons. Metro seems to have the bonus Air Miles deal where you can fork out $100 or fork out less -- they seem to have a super deal "hidden" each time that costs less money. Have a good weekend.
Thanks! For some reason, I still can't seem to get on yahoo groups. Not sure what that's all about (new computer, different isp, still an issue, gah). Hope all is well with you.
She just seemed so sure which confused me because I knew it was allowed. She's been there a long time and I wondered if they recently change their policy.
Sorry about your giant tiger incident and not getting overages. I wonder if the cashier just didn't care to even double check with someone in authority. Poor customer service.
Thanks for the rep
I've been trying to go during off hours or just when I have a second. I wanted to get the pork for my mom and cat since I don't eat meat and they do, but they didn't have any at my regular store at Kingston/McCowan. I'm actually surprised that the people working there weren't ready to kill us and each other!
I may try it! Golden Mile is like a demolition derby really. Especially now that there is a huge dollar store in the mall. and sometime this year, Joe Fresh opens up in there! That will be complete madness.
Ive never been to that one! Is it a decent No Frills? Golden Mile is my regular and the one at Vic Park and Lawrence is my secondary...they were out too! nuts!
Have a wonderful Christmas!!
