Conversation Between Noodge and Andit

  1. No reason to worry about me. The transplant clinic (& the amazing specialists they've introduced me to) keep a very close eye on me.

Any plans to come to Toronto for a visit? My neighbourhood is a tourist destination.
  2. That's so very sweet of you to say!

My problem is that I have no immune system (cause of the transplant), so a little cold gives me a good hard thwack upside the head. Maybe I need another thwack on my noggin to send it packing?
  3. Thank you sooo very much for the kind words, you made my day.

I am very very lucky that there are a lot of wonderful folks in my life (both online & irl & some who are both!). When someone needs me, the least I can do is help them as best I can.

Even Quincy cat appreciates me, although he does have to put me in my place every so often (apparently I`m not a very good servant ).

    Have a wonderful day.
  4. Thanks so much for thinking of us, that is so very sweet of you.

My friend is doing better, but it's going to be a longer recovery than she expected. She's still quite queasy, so solid food is eluding her. Looks like she'll be off to a rehab place early next week for a minimum of 2 weeks (she's hoping less). I'm trying to figure out how I can smuggle her pet in for a visit.

    Hope you are doing well.
  5. I am glad to hear that your friend has a fire in her soul as that will surely help her battle towards health. With friends like you, she has the courage to fight and heal. I'll keep on praying and I hope you keep us updated. Bless for being such a lovely person.
  6. Thank you so much for thinking of my friend. She's pretty spunky - the first thing she did when she got home was start cleaning. Then the next day, she went out shopping (didn't bother telling me, cause she didn't want me fussing!).

    How are you feeling?
  7. Yep, I'm a hodge podge of recycled parts. Actually, I had a kidney/pancreas transplant, so no more dialysis & no more insulin shots. Woohoo!

    So far, so good.

Hope all is well with you. The critters are not too thrilled with the cold weather we've been having. Silly cat keeps trying to sleep under his bed (eek, I think he's as crazy as I am, poor dog has to put up with us ).
