  1. Aw no problem lynn! It's always nice to hear about someone positive accomplishment! =) Merry christmas to you and your family! Hope you have a wonderful holiday!
  2. Orv....you really don't want to know my opinion of the 'royal' family...lol...I don't think I could explain it without using words that would make a sailor blush! They're an absolute pariah for that country and believe me, not ALL citizens are happy they're still around. The queen is one of the wealthiest women in the world (if not THE wealthiest!) and the last straw for them and me, was when the masonry around Windsor Castle was deteriorating and needed repair, she asked the government to foot the bill!!! CAN you imagine?!!
They're leeches as far as I'm concerned.
Goodness! I said all that without swearing! SO proud of myself!
I hope you're having a lovely WARMER weekend, Hon!!
  3. haha HECK no!!! I don't understand why they need to sell stuff to make money, I seen somewhere all the proceeds will be going to the royal family or something... why do they need MORE money??!?!?!!?
  4. Hi, Orv! Happy Valentine's Day!
Not our pooch Jenny, but absolutely identical...Jenny won't stay
still long enough for us to get a good picture of her! LOL!
Hope you're having a lovely day, Hon!!
  5. Happy Canada Day!!!!
  6. Thank you for the rep, Sweetie!
  7. Hi, Orv...nope...haven't even been to the east coast, but it is on our bucket list! I've used that expression since the 60s...I think it's from some tv show in that era..

Our Grandson, Jack, just turned 2 last Monday...too funny..our SIL posted a question just generally on his facebook, something like, "do all 2 year olds whine, throw a tantrum, kick, hit when they don't get their way?"...19 friends replied, YES, DEFINITELY! LOL!!! Jack is a very good little guy, actually....always happy....very chatty...but once in a while, when he hears the word 'no', it seems to upset him. LOL! And no...he never gets his way. Our DD and her hubby are quite strict with him and he's always expected to say "please' and 'thank you' for things he asks for and he does, with a big smile. But they do melt our hearts, don't they?
Your little girl looks like such a cutie-pie...love that expression on her face!
  8. LOL oh yes terrible twos definitately take a toll on you, i think i will die 5 years sooner and have grey hair by the time im 30 LOL Just out of curiosty are you originally from the east coast? you used the term "some fun" and i have only ever heard that term from east costers lol (myhubbys an east coaster)
  9. Thank you my Friend. I'm with you re having a soft spot for all animals...we can learn a lot from them. I know I'll have another fur-kid again someday, but right now we're doing a lot more travelling, small road trips and our big anniversary trip in September. One day Tammy will bring another pooch into our lives somehow...
How old is your little cutie-pie? She's an absolutely doll...takes after her Mom, I'm thinkin'!
    Have a lovely weekend!....Lynn
  10. aww lynn.. i got teary eyed just reading your post... i have the biggest soft spot for animals... so sorry for your loss.. at least the memories will last forever. although its not quite the same*hugs*
  11. Thank you, Orv..she was a border collie/collie cross..and had the precious temperment of both. I still miss her so much and got teary-eyed when I posted her photo just now....it's so quiet around here without her and those big brown eyes....
