Aw, you're so sweet about the food! Yeah, no one makes food like our moms - my perogies are pretty close to hers - in fact, I was so proud the very first time I made them for her, she was amazed that none fell apart! My cabbage rolls are just okay... my sisters make them closer to what my mom's were like; I think they just have more experience.
Now talking about sour cabbage has made me want sarma, that may be on the menu for the weekend!
