It seems that I found the Multi-Chopper just like for the Fruits, Vegetable and many other gadgets like others to be into Juliennes, need at least $32 even with a discount, look for this, to see whether it is worth! link

I've been humming and hawing over whether or not I should buy the attachment much like this for my mixer.... I have a food processor but it's not as versatile. I hate grating cheese and pretty much get my husband to do it 100% of the time hahaha

For me it is all about the fact that it is not electric, assembles fast, does what it does well, and cleans up easy peasy! Now why didn't my DH and kids come like that?? lol

Cute thread, Walks! My Mom had one that "screwed" onto a counter or table like a vise-grip...it must be around here somewhere...As for cheese, I either use my food-processor or my hubby....or...ahem..I buy the bagged stuff in a pinch...

Oh, there's SO MUCH in our crawl space (tall crawl space) that's still all boxed up from our down-sizing, and my Mom's stuff...I can't bear to part with it, but I know our DD doesn't want but a few things.....ugh.

Hmph. Just don't get talked into the "Eggie", Walks. At least I bought it for $2 in Florida....that's about what they're worth.
It's not that they don't work...they really do, and I hate peeling eggs, but then you have to wash them and it's such picky work!
Lord...did I just say that washing a half-dozen eggies was hard work?
WHAT would my ancestors say about that!!!!!???

too late Lynn!! DH bought it ( Eggies) for me for Xmas, I tried it, could not believe the work involved and actually threw the entire set away when he wasn't looking!!! I hardly ever do that, but I thought there was no way that thing was going to collect dust in my place for years, that is what I have 2 exercise machines for!!
    bwahahahaha!!

I've got the kitchenaid attachment that's similar to this and despite the mixed reviews, I absolutely love mine. My kitchenaid is always on the countertop and it takes me less than 2 mins to assemble the grater/shredder so it's become a regular staple in our household. I can understand if your mixer or attachments were kept in the basement but if you're able to keep it closeby...it makes shredding cheese (or vegetables) a breeze. I have no problem buying 6 blocks of cheese (we shred then freeze it) whereas before it would be a battle as to who has to shred it this time...and thinly sliced potatoes done in the oven are now my weakness...'cause they're so easy to make!

I envy your counter space, mine is filled up with a coffee maker, an electric kettle, toaster oven, small butchers block, well....also there is not that much space there as it is. Isn't it nice when small appliances actually do what they advertise they do? lol I also freeze the cheese too once a big batch is grated.

I originally read this thread when it was new and was quite interested in getting one of these. I have looked up the company's website, but am unable to find it there. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.
