Feeling totally alright & I am beginning my week off from treatment. This is something that I look forward to so much. I have a couple of fun events planned this week including dinner at the Keg. It's also good to be in a happy mood & better frame of mind. I can't tell you how tired I get of swallowing pills & waiting for all the side effects to mess up my equilibrium. I will still fight this *thing* come hell or high water. Next week I'll be back at it, so it's time to have a little bit of fun & frolic.....

Can you believe that the weekend is here already? Time really moves too fast sometimes. I had such a great dinner at The Keg last night. I just love the Spinach Salad there, it is so good. It was good to have an appetite & to enjoy a steak. I went for the Teriyaki Sirloin & my speed is about medium-rare. Yummy! How nice to be served & to be in good company. Some of my friends tried in vain to get dessert in, but I just couldn't go there. Too full.

I'm going out for lunch again tomorrow. We'll be doing Italian Saturday.

I've had a really good week. I've felt good. No treatment! No drugs! My pain has been manageable & I am happy that things went the way they did.

I am of course back at it next week, but this break did me the world of good.

Glad you enjoyed your week!
It was our town's Santa Parade tonight. WHY they switched it to night, I will never know! We didn't go but found out later that my brother got to be in it- riding in the truck of the Kinsman "Elmer-the-Safety-Elephant" float.

I have managed to get a few Christmas cards mailed to relatives in Europe. Cards for Thanksgiving mailed to the States. Two birthdays coming up this week. Hope our soil gets his in the States. We were a bit late in mailing but their postal service works on Saturday.

I have been making a "to-do" list for the next few days. We are hoping that DH's medical issue will respond to meds so we can go away. I would say it's about 50-50 at the moment.

Can you believe how fast time flies when you are having fun. I mean my oh my!

Back at it tomorrow. Princess Margaret is still going be there waiting for me. I would so much rather not be doing this treatment sometimes.....but, I have to try.

Another appointment today. This time with my Optometrist. For the longest time I have been experiencing blurring of vision. It is a known side effects of 3 of the drugs I am currently taking. Also time to see how my prescription has changed. Hope this is not a long appointment - they can be slowpokes at that office.

Today is a so/so day.
