Won't miss Target because I still have Bon Ton!!

I went to the states and my favourite store Bon Ton..they always have coupons $5.00 off when you spend $5.00, 70-75% off plus you can use coupons etc...went last week-end..bought cuisinart kitchen gadgets,,reg. $12.00-$14.00 50% off plus used my $5.00 coupon got a bunch of things for free!! Or $1.00 or $2.00!!! Bought Christmas, winter things, pewter wine stoppers reg,$20.00 on sale for $5.00 used $5.00 coupon cashier gave it to me for free!! I said,"dont I have to pay the tax she said no the receipt indicates 0...I didn't post all my receipts but they were all like this..bought 6 pairs of gold toe socks ( these are usually expensive and very good socks) reg. $16.99 on sale for $8.50 less $5.00=$3.50.. I guess I won't miss Target as much as I thought!!

I have seen magazine ads (full colour ads) for Gold toe socks but I cannot say which stores carry them here in Ontario.

OP, you are right. We won't break. We are just bending now with Target closing, but we will bounce back.
Although I am sorry for the employees and sorry for the deals we will miss, we had options before and will have options again. And you just identified one --The Bon Ton

ha,ha.ha...no it's a different post..I go to the states 2-3 times a month, especially if they have amazing coupons!!im only 1 hr away..

SavvyLady-How do you get the coupons? Are they from the cashier or flyer or printable. Will hit them when I go over to the USA a few times a year. Like to find new places to stop down there for the deals…

On the day I'm leaving, or the day before,I go to the Bon Ton site and I print them I click on today's ad and they are usually there. You can also click on this week in store. I also check out mommysavesbig.com site they have coupons for all the stores..
