I know this is not a typical shopping brag in stores but buying tons of stuff from neighbors.
To start I need to say a story.
We actually bought a Lego Darth Vader figure and watch for my son's birthday last year and he missed in school.
I do not want to buy same watch+ figure set for $25 instead I want to buy another things in wish list.
Went to check mail and saw our neighbor few houses apart and both said " Hi" to each other. She was putting sign for yard sale near mailbox with sign for toys and household stuff and shed my inhibition and asked about Legos, she said she has tons and asked me to come then if I was free to check in here garage.
I found it ,Yay before my son's birthday 'The Darth Vader'
Then I found many of interesting stuff.
Milk frother ,photo frames,Nerf guns ,beautiful crystal basket, tote bag, hot wheels,Hamilton Beach mini processor brand new and the list goes on.
I didn't negotiate since she only gave for fair price.
All for $30 ,many are brand new.
It is now not buying and selling relation only but more than that.
Thanks for reading!
Sorry for any mistakes.

That's so wonderful - and those are many great things you got!
It's a definite benefit to have a sneak peak before neighbours have a sale.

I always see garage sale/yard sale signs up and have drove past quite a few. Always wanted to go to one cause you never know what you'll find.
