Recently I bought Next to Love by Ellen Feldman. The story is based on three childhood friends and last night started to read it.

Hunger Games trilogy - didn't see the movie, but am halfway through the first book, and it's very good. Glad I'm reading the book first.

I just read Ami McKay's "The Virgin Cure" in about 2 days flat (hehe. It was a 7-day loan book so it had to be speedy!). I enjoyed it.

Before that I read Michael Ondaatje's "The Cat's Table." I've loved Ondaatje's books in the past but wasn't a fan of this particular one.

Currently reading "A Good House" by Bonnie Burnard. So far, I like it.

Recently I bought ‘The Next Always’ by Nora Roberts it’s based on fictional romance which creates in a real location and I’m willing to read the entire book.

I got a kobo and downloaded a bunch of books.. I heard hunger games was popular so I started reading... I got about two thirds through the first book when I got the feeling it was written for teenage girls. I read the rest of the series anyway. Somewhat shameful, somewhat disappointing, still entertaining.

I went from that to reading Stephen King, who I have never read before... let me just say his writing style will be a breath of fresh air if you have ever dragged yourself through the hunger games series. Nothing personal against Mrs. Collins, but after I read that her husband had helped her fill in plot holes, I was surprised either of them ever finished high school.

the last few weeks i've read the first two in the hunger games trilogy, waiting for the third from the library
finished the 5-book series that suzanne collins wrote before hunger games - kids books but entertaining just the same
am almost finished What the Night Knows by dean koontz
just finished 11.22.63 by stephen king - took a week with that one, it was a goodie.. very interesting as to his ideas of what might have become of the world if jfk wasn't assassinated.. the whole time travel thing boggles my mind -impossible and paradoxes galore- but i find it very compelling

The past few weeks I've been reading pretty much all Dean Koontz books - at this point I think I've read about 3/4 of the books he's wrote. I read all 4 of his Frankenstein books - awesome series! Plus a bunch of his thrillers - The Face, Velocity, What the night knows, The eyes of darkness and more. Honestly, I have yet to read a book of his I haven't liked.

I also discovered the Witch and Wizard series by James Patterson - the first book was pretty good and I'm just waiting to get the other two from the library...
