I'm having a really hard time catching up with all the messages I get and I'm terribly lagging and behind.

I think I need to come up with a more efficient system to handle problems... maybe some kind of ticket system.... any ideas?

I know there are a few moderators on the site but I have no idea what they do so if theres an issue I will PM you first. Maybe if there was a list (or one more obvious to us newbies since I don't know about one) we would be PM'ing others and you wouldn't get so many.

Is there an official list of mods somewhere? I don't really know who is a mod.

A ticket system would be awesome I think. That way people could follow up and see where they are in terms of getting an answer.

More mods.,so that you are not left doing everything yourself.

Something needs to be done, because not responding to PM's comes off as being very disrespectful.. especially when one sees that person replying in other inane threads.

Some will get fed up and possibly leave the board..

I don't think theres any need to get snooty IMO. Boo is a super busy guy and he gets literally hundreds of pms a day.

He also goes to University fulltime as well.

Now I have been trying to pick up slack as well and have been answering pms as quickly as I can.

I don't think a ticket system would work to be honest, if you don't have time to check a pm you don't have time to check a ticket.

I'm sure Boo will have more free time in the near future, but in the meantime if theres any mod that can help you on that list for their section please feel free to pm them as well.

I've been helping out as much as I can on trade problems as well as trains. I don't think anyones going to leave because it takes a bit to answer pms, but if so well thats sucky and wed wish youd stay.

Okay seriously now, I think most questions can be answered by someone in SC so try posting the question and see if you get the answer before going to BOO or the other mods.

All work and no play would make this site nothing but a chore and probably not worth his time and we'd all lose. He should be able to take breaks from taking care of the site and enjoy it with the rest of us.

There are 46720 members and if even 1/100 of them each sent 1 post in a day that's a lot right there.
