Fallen Pixels - those pics are FAB!!!
And all the videos are great - I still find it fascinating to see a dog and cat together in a home.
Today, a sad day for me.... we gave Bobby away to a very good home on an acreage, where he can spray all he wants!! No more on our possessions! But I had a serious cry about it, as I gave him one more huge hug -
The next toughie will be giving away the kitten, who is now three months. We'll have him a few more weeks before he'll go to live with my son's friend.Last edited by Natalka; Mon, May 24th, 2010 at 05:24 PM.

KK7 it's the surface feeling, not what it is. Stop it with a firm NO each time!

I second telling him no every time, Quincy has started to do it on the walls now he knows he isn't supposed to do it on the mirror, the windows, the screen, the fridge...
Terrible teens time for cats starts at around 6 months and usually lasts until 2 years

Here's a shot of a feral colony of cats that I was caring for at work. (The arrow is pointing to a tunnel they made into the hay pile, so smart!) I loved having them around & so did the customers. They would donate food and money towards their care & I even managed to get some spayed. My boss hated them though so while I was away on vacation he had them all destroyed! B****d!
I contacted the OSPCA but they said they couldn't lay cruelty charges because the cats had no owner. Needless to say, things at work have not been very friendly since then....
I miss them!

I've been told by dog people that while most dogs will get along with their own cat, it is rare for a dog to solicit attention from an unknown cat, let alone a stray. Good thing no one told Lily.
That is sooo cute!!!! So...is the littlest one in charge of the household?

More fun games with Quincy. This is part of our morning ritual (when I have time, which is most days). I slide kibble across the floor for him to chase. I'm not sure which one of us enjoys this game more.

Here are some vids of him doing Hi 5 & shaking hands, er, paw.
