Okay ...I transferred all 80 000 of my points to my husbands card. I feel so stupid for not inquiring about this before entering my info. Has anyone called SDM about this? I'm going to tomorrow

I would contact SDM customer service tomorrow to be sure. Although they are not asking you for personal information yet, just be sure.
What is VIB? I don't remember that in any SDM contest

I don't have a baby and I don't think I signed up for VIB but anything is possible since I'm always buying baby stuff for other people.

DON"T FILL IT OUT!!! Read the thread 'fire earth air' posted above! I put my info in...stupid, stupid, stupid! AFTER I decided to see if anything was posted here and it was...many people recieved this "winning!!" I transferred all my points out of my account - just in case - I've got 80000

It's gotta be a scam.. I JUST GOT IT in my email.. And I never entered any contests of any sort before september 2009.. so it's impossible for me and my shoppers card t have entered this contest back in feb - mar 2009.

forgot to add that I'm not even a VIB member.. it's the first time I ever heard of VIB.

I, too, got the same email today.....

HOWEVER, after reading the email again, the dates are off. I hadn't joined V.I.B. during those times... because I didn't have my baby until after those dates. Then I found out about this V.I.B. much later... say 2 or 3 months after DS was born. hmmmm....... it seems a little strange to me!

Although, I've had an Optimum card forever.....

I'll be glued to this thread... If anyone finds out anything... please post!

Just got this email and checked few things...

Point 1: If it is not legit, why all the SDM members get this mail?
Point 2: The mail was sent by http://www.thindata.net/, an email marketing company
Pont 3: This email marketing company is based in USA.

I already fill up the form before sew this thread. But I dont see a point to be panicked.

I got that same email today too, just 30 min ago, I have NEVER signed up for VIB did not even know what it was. How simple was it to transfer your points, is that maybe what the scammers are doing. The ones that have filled out the form and submitted it did the provide enough info?
I did not fill it out I was really suspicious and already have a subscription.
