Talk about a weather difference, from spring in some areas to out and out blizzard in others. I want to come home today is suppose to be 82 and sunny, and no breeze so it could get pretty sticky. Heading off to Mexico this morning, then this afternoon going to start to pack up a few things I won't be needing before we leave. I'm hoping to convince my dh to leave within the next week or so. I miss home so much, my dh's and my grandkids I'm thinking that this will probably be my last trip to a boarder town in Mexico. Things are really getting bad. In todays paper they showed that 6 people were shot to death on main street again in Reynosa. Everyday there are murders, one day there were 16! A lot of them innocent victims. Such a sad situation, and the people struggling to make a living are the ones being hurt because not many snowbirds are going down anymore.

Minus 13 - today freezing rain and maybe snow as it warms up. Glad I don't have to drive anywhere today.

+4 today but gloomy. Atleast no snow in the forcast and a majority of the snow is melted from all the rain we got yesterday

Went from +13 on the weekend, now +2 and we are suppose to get a few cm of snow today and overnight--just when the snow was almost gone! lol

Here is this weeks forcast for our area. SERIOUSLY thinking of up and moving. Winters are longer every year. Started Nov 10th last yhear.

it's way better than last years above average temps

hopefully, this trend will continue through the summer

but i doubt it will

I long for summer and love the heat, but your right, cooler weather is better for right now. Last year, in my area we had an "early spring" with above avg temps and then we had frost again and because of that most of the apple farmers lost their crop. The trees bloomed and then the frost killed all the blossoms so hopefully it doesn't happen again.

I've managed to convince dh the we can leave here next Saturday. It's getting extremely hot now. Calling for 87 today and 90 tomorrow....so that means that today should be somewhere near 92 and tomorrow closer to 95....spring is definitely hit the valley. There is such a drought going on here it's turning into a dust bowl. Haven't had any rain in months and over the past 4 years it's amounted to less than 2 inches I'm so excited.
