    We had a bluster come through this afternoon, but fortunately no issues in my 'hood. Cannot say the same for a bit north of here where 1000's without power!

    We managed to get the roofer today. They're helping a friend down the street as well. We consider ourselves lucky.

    Maximum gusts this morning and early afternoon: southeasterly 80 km/h, except 100 to 120 km/h along parts of the coast.

    Maximum gusts this evening: southwesterly 100 km/h.

    Locations: coastal areas of northeastern Newfoundland.

    Time span: continuing until late this evening.

    Remarks: strong southeasterly winds will continue to strengthen this morning before shifting to southwesterly this afternoon. Winds will diminish below warning criteria upon shifting to the northwest late this evening.
