VeeVee, had a similar situation when we moved to this city where my sister was already living. She assumed since I was a SAHM that I could look after her girl, too - but my mom (and I knew too) that this was not a good idea, so I had to just tell her firmly and nicely. I did however let her know that in emergencies, it would be fine - and she took me up on it a few times, not many though.

Good thing you stand on your ground, Natalka. I find that nice people seems to be taken advantage of a lot.... Seems like a universal theme.

Its difficult when it come sto family that is for sure, but BF will tell her today we will continue watching her like we have for the past 1.5 years but when she starts school we will not be responsible. She (my sil) has always assumed everyone will do what she wants....well guess what I won't lol

Well her and hubby work till 4pm...but I told her put her in a school close to ur work so U can pick her up after school and bring her to day care until ur done. Figure something out, don't excpect everyone to take care of her bc ur busy, every parent is busy but they figure it out for crying out loud!
Funny think she was dying to go back to work, she went after 8 month mat leave....and then got mad bc my MIL was working double jobs adn couldn't watch her. She is very selfish so doesn't surprise me.
