Today, just out of curiosity I called the makers of Motrin to see if this coupon is legit. They said it was as long as you got it from www.livingwell.ca. I think that the site showing BAD coupons is for the states only.

I would love to see save.ca printing their coupons on the same glossy paper that's used for the newspaper coupon inserts!
I've actually had stores (Metro mostly) refuse ANY of my save.ca coupons claiming they are printed from the internet - I've even showed them the uncut copies in the envelope and they won't take them.
As for the actual printable coupons - No one accepts them anywhere in the Brampton area, except on occasion at the WM on Airport. Even then, the cashier has to ask the CSM, and there only seems to be one CSM who says ok. I usually don't even bother trying.

i cant believe that motrin coupon is on the list of conterfit coupons.. it was available on the livingwell.ca site.. so how can they now say its not real when it was actually a legit coupon at one point!?
i guess companies should only put an expiry date which isn't so far away. because they give u a deal like $5 off any motrin item then realize that retailers then sell their products cheaper then $5 and then say its a conterfit.. thats B.S - that coupon was at one time REAL and off that site livingwell.ca .. so really they shouldn't of produced it to begin withI really need 8 Dempsters PINS will need until FEB 15 and will trade for G.C $5 your choice where

I would assume that the Motrin coupon was intended for Canada only. Someone tried to make it Americanized and therefore a counterfit coupon in the states. Calm down...that website people keep quoting is American. Most of the info won't apply to Canadians.

I know that I have gotten save.ca coupons that were smeared looking and kind of orange in comour. They can in the mail that way but I could see how someone may have thought they were copied.
I know the one metro store here gave me a really hard time about the save.ca coupons and refused to take them. I called the head office and the next time they took them (begrudgingly). Managers do have the right to refuse coupons so if a store does refuse certain coupons he has that power. I know that store will not take any French coupons at all even if you have an english one to go with it. That store has been such a problem I don't shop there any more and travel to another store instead.

I have a question...
I received a few multiples of save.ca coupons in a recent trade, and I think they are fake... I got one in french and one in english, with different expiries, but same code number. By code number, I mean not the upc number but the number to the left of the upc... I thought these numbers were always different?!!
Is this a way of checking to know if they are fake??

It really irritates me when places don't take french coupons. The stores where I use most of my coupons are also shopped at by a strong french community and I'm shocked. I would tell them that they were being biased. My husband is french so I just get him to tell me what they say.. lol...
