Slowly starting to pack today.

My one roomate moved in this past Friday. They still havent hooked up the internet yet - so she must be pretty bored doing absolutle nothing.

When we went to look at the house they were planning on renting the basement wll the 4 of us said if they rent it we wont rent (all our parent agreed with us). Well my one roomate moves in and the landlord is living in the basement WTF how nice of them to tell us. She says the floors are ubber thin so she can hear everything we hear and do.

UGH! so much for having a life. u stuck in a lease ?

Yep - when we signed the lease we were under the impression that noone was in the basement. She told us it was storage. Its her parents house but they moved to another province and noone would buy the house so their renting it. The daughter (our landlord) was there when my one roomate moved in and she told my roomae shes living there in the basement. Supposeable you can hear her downstairs cooking and walking around. Going to be one interesting year.

Does anyone know where I can get a cheap freezer (you know those box freezers) just a small one. Enough for extra food for us to store.

I think there's a limit to how many folks can share a house - not sure if that would make things worse for you though?

Haunish - how's the job going? Are you getting into the swing of it yet? I know when I started volunteering (after not having worked for 5 yrs cause of all the health nonsense), I was shaking & came home exhausted. & these were nice people who gave me very little to do.

Haunish - how's the job going? Are you getting into the swing of it yet? I know when I started volunteering (after not having worked for 5 yrs cause of all the health nonsense), I was shaking & came home exhausted. & these were nice people who gave me very little to do.

Job is going good, the main people I work with are hilarious, fun adn very helpful. I havent worked for so long though I come home and pass out for a while.. Told the boss and she was like you really are not used to it. Hope i get better as next sat. I work a 8 hour shift and if I am shot after 3 hours who knows what I will be like after that one..lol, but so far enjoying it.

Ok, besides not knowing who Louis is (or where he lives), doesn't this sound like a really odd invitation? Why isn't Louis inviting his own guests? & if it's a surprise party, shouldn't that have been mentioned?

Maybe I should track down this bbq to find my unknown (to me) boyfriend & get a life?

Here's hoping Louis & his father have fun at their bbq. I don't think I'll be going. It might be awkward when a 40 something woman shows up looking for a boyfriend.
