Opinion Outpost - get rewarded for completing surveys

Opinion Outpost used to be excellent and really the gold standard. But now it's terrible. Granted it's still legitimate, however it takes a while to earn up points so you can cash out at their threshold.

Ok so I tried to cash out 360$ with paypal, and when it redirected me to paypal, my account got frozen, and now there beating around the bush to activate my account again, has this happened to anyone?

That's terrible! I wonder if the problem is Opinion Outpost or paypal?

I have'nt had a survey from them in over a year now. I want to cash out with for a amazon gc, but its been temporarily unavaible for about a year now too.

I left these guys awhile ago. They banned me for 'accessing surveys from outside of the U.S.'. I replied back.. "um yeah, you have .ca in your url and I'm in Canada!!" They kept replying back that same message a few times until I told them they better straighten this BS out ASAP. They finally reinstated me.. I took a couple more surveys, cashed out, and haven't been back since!

Ya, there beating around the bush with letting me cash out, saying the need to investigate, and make an assessment lol. They just dont want me to cash out my 360$ that an outside company paid opinion outpost to pay me for taking part in a 2 week panel discussion. Im mad that they got rid of CITI bank CC redemptions!

Lately whenever I click on the "take a survey" button and takes me to the following page it never loads - just tried it now and still does this. Only have 35 points in there now so no great loss (i've been forgetting about OO lately)

You know when you don't qualify for a survey and you click the "No Thanks" option and it takes you to the "instant win" button page....I actually won 20 points! First win ever!

i rarely ever win those... =( OO has been really slow with their surveys lately, and I don't qualify fot them as often anymore

Do points expire? Today I logged in and it said I have 0 points! Funny, last time I checked I had more than enough for a $10 amazon gc... Sent them a message to see what they say.

Here's what they said:

Your points were forfeited/expired for one of the reasons outlined in Section 19 of our Terms & Conditions.

SSI reserves the right to de-activate your Panel membership account, without notice,: (a) if your membership account does not remain Active (as defined herein); (b) if SSI receives a hard bounce or delivery failure notice in regards to email communications sent by SSI to your email account; or (c) if SSI receives a “mailbox full” reply notice three (3) times in regards to email communications sent by SSI to your email account. In the event that SSI de-activates your membership account for the foregoing reasons, SSI shall maintain unredeemed Incentives accrued prior to de-activation, for a period of thirty (30) days following de-activation, after which time SSI will immediate terminate your access to, and ability to redeem, any such Incentives.

We received a hard bounce or delivery failure notice when sending emails to your account since August 15, 2012.

I have no clue why their e-mails would bouce back. My e-mail is never full, and no one else seems to have a problem sending them to me. So now I guess I've lost all my points. Lovely. I'm done with opinion outpost.
