So, I have tried both Huggies and Pampers and decided I really like them. Nice and absorbent. But the Parent's Choice brand...eh, not so much. They seem to run small, has anyone else noticed this..? And they also feel wet right after a pee, whereas the Huggies and Pampers can last her through 2 or 3 (I tested one night when she was being fussy about waking up).
How are the No Frill's/Zeller's brand diapers?
Really wish I had an LD here just for diapers..*sigh*

We have been using Huggies since day 1, and have never looked back! Sure, they're more pricey than store brands, but DS gets a rash with any other brand then Huggies (including Pampers) so we've decided to stay loyal (and Huggies sends you more coupons than Pampers does... )

For us, Huggies leaked BAD. I don't think it's because they're bad diapers, they just didn't fit my DS's shape of bottom. Pampers Baby Dry were our norm, with coupons and sales they were generally cheaper than the generic ones. But we tried Teddy's Choice too, and they were also very good.
My DS seems to have inherited my non-sensitive skin, so rashes weren't an issue either.

How are the Teddy's Choice in regards to umm..holding the poop? xD
The Parent's Choice seem to hold it in too close to her body, and it's soooo much harder to wipe her when I use them rather than the Huggies or Pampers.
Or is that a sizing issue thing? Even though she's in size 1, and I'm pulling those really tight otherwise they fall off... I think it's that they don't like hang down far enough.

I think it is trial and error, depending on the shape of each baby and parent's preference. I use Teddy's Choice for my youngest, and I find they work just as well as brand name. I hate Pampers, I find they fit smaller then Huggies and I hate the smell of them. I love Huggies; my oldest uses Huggie's Pull-Up's and I will only buy them because they are the only training pants with the tear away sides.

Love pampers...never tried Huggies. Will use Parents Choice if I'm being cheap!
Hate Kirkland & Teddy's Choice.
Must say Pampers swaddlers were the best diapers ever, really wish they made them in size 4!!!

I use Pampers Baby Dry on my son. I like the shape of them better then Huggies. My son is really long and on the skinnier side so around the legs fit him much better. Also there are so many pampers coupons around from save, and brandsaver, and they have great customer service. I had an issue with one of the packs of diapers I bought, and emailed them about it and today in the mail I received 4 - $10 off coupons.
With wipes on the other hand I prefer Huggies, I find they are thicker and aren't as greasy. The pampers ones are too oily or something.Search And Win With Swagbucks:

We have tried a few diapers and now use only pampers. the parent choise swelled up a lot and leaked everysingle time. the kirkland (costco) were ok but leaked once in a while and wont help you unless you have a cosco membership (my dad got them for us). The huggies were good too but at the time didnt have the reward codes. If you use pampers i would recomend the swadlers and then the baby dry. the cruisers gave him a bad rash and they all leaked. We have not tried the cruisers dry max because of the rash from the regular cruisers but i heard they a good.

the new pampers cruisers dry max are good, the old ones leaked and leaked. I have a feeling the new cruisers are just baby dry diapers but with a different name....hmm. I think overall pampers are the best diapers out there, I think I've tried every kind of diaper out there. Huggies leaks and fits smaller than the suggested size, kirkland is about the same, western family diapers are ok, probably the better store brand out there, PC diapers sucked.

I think you'll find that as baby gets older, one brand of diapers will probably fit better than others. Huggies fit big, Pampers a little smaller. We use Teddy's Choice for 95% of the time, and have had no issues of any kind of leakage! Plus they regularly go on sale, and don't have an offensive scent (like the Pampers!!).

im not for the no name brands at all really.. i have tried a few but always but they just seem cheap.. they tear dont obsorb ect... i always end up back to pampers...when my daughter was a newborn i swore by huggies..but they too started leaking and i had a bad pack that were stuck to gether and tearing the meshy stuff inside(i didnt notice until i changed my daughter and she was covered in the gelly stuff... this happend with several diapers and then i said forget it) switched to pampers.. they have the fresh baby powder scent(which i like.. smells cleaner i guess lol) and i never pay full price for them.. i always have a coupon and shop at which every store has them on sale at the time(i dont buy in bulk we pretty much live paycheck to paycheck.. but one of the two grocery stores i live by usually has them on sale..)Regular 18.99.. sale i try to catch em around 14.99 - 3.00 coupie.. in the end paying 11.99 which is about as much as any no name brand anyway... pampers for me are the best.. my daughter has never had a diaper rash and shes almost two... and i dont use any fancy creams or anything...

For our baby shower we received both Pampers and Huggies as presents and I've always preferred Pampers.
We tried a few other brands when Pampers were not on sale but I really didn't like any of the generic ones at all. I thought the Parent's Choice ones were the worst! But then again it always depends on the baby because my friend loves the Parent's Choice brand and swears by them.
Thankfully now we're near a LD so I'll stack Pampers or Huggies. It's hard to complain when they are next to free.
Hope you find the perfect diaper for your little one.
