Oh, my gosh!! I do think the jealousy subsides. You need to give him 'important jobs' to do - that's what my sisters did for their kids close in age.
How are things going otherwise? Still got that 'new baby' smell? lol!

I try to give important jobs to do, but he isn't listening right now, either. We're just going to have a couple really good fights that lands him in bed and I think he'll break of it.

Things are going great. I'm having issues with breastfeeding again, but she's still getting some at least. I'm pumping as much as I possibly can. I had issues with DS as well. It's hereditary in my family to not be able to breastfeed. My grandmother couldn't feed any of her 7 children, my mom couldn't feed us, and even my other grandmother couldn't feed her two. I'm getting lots of sleep - she sleeps for 5 hours at night, gets up, feeds, then goes to sleep for 5 more hours. I'm getting about 7 or 8 hours total in sleep every night.

And if what you mean by "new baby smell", you mean the smell of rotting flesh, no, she doesn't have that anymore. The smell of the umbilical cord masked any other smell that she may have had. Thank goodness it only took 4.5 days to fall off!! Now she just smells delightful!!
