How is it, that in the third week of playschool, my 3 year old has been branded a troublemaker? What do I do? I sat through class today, and he doesn't want to do what the other children are doing. He is to independent, how do I help him fit in?

Oh dear, sounds like mine. The 1st day of kindergarten he packed his bag halfway through the day and was on his way out the door. Luckily I warned the teacher ahead of time that if he got bored he would leave. LOL Sadly his attitude towards school has not changed.
I will say that in K they told me it could take at least the first 6 months for them to get adjusted to a routine and socializing.

In kindergarten, my report card read that I was antisocial cause I wouldn`t play with the other kids (my parents`friends were older & their kids were grown, so was never around anyone my age). I used to sit in the corner with a jigsaw puzzle & refused to play with the other kids (they were too juvenile for me
).
By the time I hit Gr 1, I had become friends with a girl who is still my best friend (I see her at least once a week) & was friendly with everyone in the class.

I was similar to Andit as a child, now I have a handful of really close friends that are from childhood or my teen years. When I was a Nanny the oldest child was like this too, just give him sometime and he will be fine. School at any level is a scarey place for kids and some adults.

I just bought my first "meat" items. By "Meat" I mean Fake Meat. Trying to get the calories under control. Wish me well.
I'm not sure what the hell I'm doing.

LOL I was a problem child. I was antisocial supposedly and supposedly very sensitive to noise. My mom tells me in grade one I would litterally do my schoolwork UNDER the teachers desk! I don't remember any of that and have no idea how they allowed that? lol I do remember being sat down several times tho. By grade 3 I had kind of got better. In my defence I do have extremely good hearing (my family hates it lol) and so everything would sound loud.
It's funny-I watch tv and I have it at a comfortable level and I can hear it great but someone comes by and has to ask if I can hear anything at all? So if I watch tv with other people I have to turn it up. Oh and people know when I have been watching tv! lol Sound is down! So I think I acted out a lot in the first couple yrs because of the noise level in the class room. Needless to say-I can sleep through anything-even fire alarms unfortunately!
So long story short-Robyn it should get better maybe? I think I turned out ok!

well cat is super clingy and he has taken up sucking on a blanket and kneads his paws on a chair I sit on again! what is causing this? I know he doesn't like change and maybe the renos are too much change? Yep I am talking about a cat and not a human being! Silly cat gets moody with change. Is this a reaction to change also? I continually ask people about it but never really get an answer? Why on earth does he suck on a blanket?
