ok i need help in more ways than one lol but....

how do i get my 5 year old ds to sit down and work on his letters and numbers this has been an ongoing fight forever i'm shocked that i still have any hair left i've tried so many things and nothing is working he loves school but is so far behind he just doesn't care to learn and i know he know;s more than what he lets on does that even make sense anyways i need suggestions please

starting to hate the oilfield!! Waiting for my husband to get home whos been on the same dam job for 3!! days. Plus having some chest pains.. likely from the coffee.

At least he's working! I know lots of guys in the oilfield here in Alberta that have had barely any work this past year.

it's both and he is so stubborn grrrrr i know he knows more but i'll just get a don't know, he just doesn't want to learn it and i'm very concerned i got a letter from his teacher today wanting to talk to me on Thursday with his so called report card i also should add that he has apraxia he has problems forming his mouth to talk and this is one of the problems that goes along with apraxia having problems in school

hmm ... does he like play dough or fingerpaints? How well does he copy you with everything else?

What I've started doing is making "fingerpaints" out of pudding and having DS copy what I'm drawing (as well as he can - he's only 20 months).

We also just sing the alphabet and randomly count at any chance that we get. He counted to 3 the other morning by himself!! I almost cried!!

aw that's so cute he used to have an interst and then i don't know what happened he loves play dough but it's banned from the house right now lol he likes to throw it allll over the place i'll try the pudding he will love that thank you so much for the great suggestion... now to find a sale on puuding
