Over the summer I used coupons like crazy! I knew once I was in school I would not have any time to use them (seven classes). I traded and did so many trains and got fantastic coupons! I have even received some RAOKs for my shelter stash!

Every year I "adopt a family" usually through the foodbank, as well as give baskets to the local womens shelter. Prior to using coupons I usually spent just over $1,000 spreading it out all year. Costly -- YUP! So this year I am using coupons. I am proud to say that I am almost done the baskets and have not even spent $300.00!!!!!

So, because I have so much already and a ton of left overs I decided to donate them right now as they were filling up my storage room, bathroom, pretty much everywhere!


I went to the foodbank and dropped all of this off:





total OPP for that stuff was.... $64.52!!!


While I was there I was talking to this lady who was volunteering there. She informed me a friend of hers was in desperate need of this stuff because fleeing from her abusive husband. "Hmm.. it's almost the end of the month!" I thought to myself. I asked her when she was leaving, she said at the end of the week (friday).


Okay... so I went home, grabbed my coupons and headed to London Drugs and RCSS! This is the stuff I got her which she will be taking with her


total OPP: 18.51 (almost all taxes, some taxes were also taken off my coupons woops!)

Then one more stop, the SPCA

total opp: 3.01 taxes


I wish I could have helped that lady more and done something else. I felt so bad leaving her there but she assured me she would be taken care of. My next SPCA will be much larger as I am still collecting coupons! I am proud to say my stash is officially cleaned out! Time to re-stock!


So, to all those people who have sent me RAOKs I thank you so much!! This is what you helped do, and I am truely grateful!


More donations to come, this is just the tip of the ice burg!
