I'm wondering what kind of trouble my cats will get into when the Christmas tree gets put up. I have four cats. They are three years old.

I had had Q for 6 weeks before discovering that "she" was a he. At his first vet visit (pre special operation), he was so squirmy that the vet was barely able to listen to his heartbeat. A week later, I dropped my "girl" off to be spayed. I called the clinic a few times to see how "she" was, and they told me all was well. When I went to pick "her" up, the vet tech pulled me aside and said, "I have good news & bad news. The good news is that the price we quoted is much higher than we're going to charge you."

I had visions of Q waking up in the middle of surgery and being all but butchered. "So what's the bad news?"

"Turns out your girl is really a boy. Is that going to be a problem?"


As for Xmas trees, I had visions of disaster, since last year was his first Xmas as a beloved pet (he was still living on the streets the previous winter). He's a bit of a fanatic when it comes to chasing balls (I swear he's part dog), so I was surprised when he left the bulbs on the tree alone. The only interest he showed in the tree was to lie under it & nap.


Four cats? Sounds like lots of fun. I bet they keep you on your toes.

An unexpected little flurry of words tonight! I bet a bunch of the words on the "Unknowns" list are forum words, but who knows... I haven't found a single forum word yet, and I've been looking!

Kittens are in bed, and I'm chowing down again. Hubby is at work all night long, so I'm at the computer with chips and salsa mmmmmm! I'm SO MUCH hungrier this time than with either of the girls, I guess since I'm 'eating for three' LOL

I still have no idea where to meet a nice, handsome and sensitive man... i dont think thats asking too much. I just can't seem to meet any here. Then again everyone knows everyone here and i seem to always date friends of friends or people who are somehow in my circle.

I met mine playing an online game called Everquest, and we've been together the same amount of time as Amy and her hubby. Though we've known each other for about 8 years. Internet is definately NOT a foolproof place to meet, but it broadens the territory!

I actually wasn't hoping to meet anyone, especially in a game like that.. just like Amy said though, the timing sometimes is just right and thats that. Besides sweetie, you are so pretty! Some man is going to fall into your arms very willingly...

Haven't gotten thru all the posts I've missed yet but need to go lay down a bit. Don't know if I have fluid on my hips again or if its something new. Whenever I get an infection like the kidney infection I had my rheumatoid arthritis really kicks my butt and figure it's just that so should be better soon but can't stand to sit up long right now. oh who asked me to watch my hubby for whiplash????

accident was tues. saturday he started complaining about his back. i said, maybe you did too much at work? (saturday he normally does strenuous work on floors, steam cleaning , or using buffers). no he said i din't do that much. i had mentioned whiplash to him tues or wed, he said, no he's fine, he wasn't moved that much, just moved the car ahead. i said, ya, but look at all the damage it did to the car, don't u think you might have sufferred some impact? so saturday, he starts considering it's whiplash, cause he says he din't do that much work on floors.

so today he moves the wrong way and it catches in his lower back. has to lie down several times. i said, you have to mention that to dr's wed. now he's saying maybe he worked too hard saturday.

OMG MEN, just shooooot me!!!

relax? he cleaned up the kitchen for me... then cleaned up the dogdirt, which i heard looked like the circus elephant stayed there... and then took son out to sell choclate bars down our very big hill. ya he's taken it easy *sigh*

why can't he do stuff when he's not hurtin? i don't get men!!!!!!

If it helps you at all my hubby is like RQ's man...takes care of me real good and cooks and cleans and bathes the kids...actually did all of that tonight cuz I was feeling very weak and faint. Love my man, he is the best
