So I got to see a naked man tonight.
Weird play. It was a bit crude & very twisted, but also quite funny. The actors (2 women, 2 men) did a combo of modern dance & acting, using Leonard Cohen's writings. It started with one of the men coming on stage naked (cute with a lithe athletic dancer's body), saying that before the performance can begin, he had to forewarn the audience of a few things. As he went on & on about the colourful language to come (not to mention the adult content), the others dressed him. Very different, but very cleverly done. One of the funniest moments was when one of the women & the other male actor were, um, doing a dance interpretation of what a couple might do. The girl was twisted into an impossible position & the man while getting, um, excited, threw out his back, leaving the poor girl quite unhappy.
Strange play, but always fun to see things I normally wouldn't.
So, how was everyone else's night?

lol that reminds me of that movie where the guy kept getting moved to a new place for his desk until he finally ended up in the basement course I can't remember the name of the movie I never can lol.
oh wow lady have a wonderful time would love to go to Jamaica someday!
How scary Rose so glad you made it safely thru the intersection and yes that there were no cops around to see it! It's one of the scariest parts of kids growing up for us parents. I wanted so badly to keep them from going off on their own at first even if it was nice not having to be a taxi driver anymore but believe me at first I wished they'd never gotten their license, I dont' think I slept a wink the first 6 months whenever they were out and driving themselves home. Not until they got home safe and sound, then I could finally sleep.
don't give up hope yet people are still getting emails but I dont' think all the companies that are sending out the prizes email you. I know last year the people that entered the big August contests didn't even know they'd won until in the spring, so I was surprised to find out this early.
wow NS that is kind of creepy but really cool if it was to let you know you were missing those calls. When I was single after my ex left and in school as well as working the jaycee's took my daughter out and bought her a $100 worth of clothes lmao would of been nice if they'd helped her pick them out but lol it was fun for her. She came home with some very ugly clothes that didn't match worth beans. She was in 2nd grade and her teacher had put her name down for a needy child. Thats why they didn't take my son also. lmao she had a very nice teacher but a very concerned one. I'd been out grocery shopping and dd had been whining and wanting something until I was at the end of my rope. I finally told her that I couldn't afford to get anything other then groceries and as it was couldn't buy enough to get us thru the month and no way could I afford to buy her anything she didn't absolutely have to have. She went to school the next day and burst into tears, told her teacher momma doesn't know how she's gonna feed us! Got a call from the teacher offering some suggestions for different places I could get help like the food bank and had to admit to her what happened but that it wasn't quite as desparate as all that and my family would help me if I really needed it. OMG IT was so embarrassing but I felt about 2 ft high for making my daughter worry over finances at such a young age.
Andit meant to include your play post in it you know the one that starts with seeing a naked man tonight. Sounds like fun (the play that is) but lol very strange also.
The kids had snow off and on all afternoon yesterday in Houston, Texas, didn't stick but some stayed on the ground but only a little bit in certain areas.

OH fogot to tell you all what happened to my DS wednesday night. He was outside talking on his cellphone when he looked down the block and some man was slamming a woman into a car and roughing her up. DS hung up the phone and went over there calmly said HEY NOW and the guy turned around and immediately decked him, he had a ring on and it hit Jace's tooth and just shattered it. The guy took off running right after hitting him. Turns out the woman had accidently locked the keys in the car and he'd been pissed off at her about that (boyfriend or husband Jace didn't find out). My son got the door unlocked for her and she handed him the name of the dentist she works for (dental hygenist) and $40, Jace tried to give it back to her but she was in a all fired hurry to go catch up with her man now that the car was unlocked. Jace was so pissed off, not that he would of let the guy pound on her but that he got a broken tooth for someone who went right back to the pr**k who was beating on her who may have finished the beating anyway after she caught up to him. I wanted him to call the cops and file assault charges since he had her name and where she worked they could of found out his name. He won't go into the dentist she works for tho doesn't care if she can get him a discount or not, he doesn't want anything more to do with her, can't really blame him but I want him to get that tooth fixed and he sure can't afford it.
