They let us in today with no problems!! Darn, I wanted to waste some more time out side!!
So today they are taking all our boxes at 11am and moving them. I still have to work, 'cause the computer is not moving so I can work. My question is what about the stuff that I need? I can't pack it and then what I bring it home with me??? Grrrr, why can't they just let us leave early!! It still takes about 1/2 hour to get out of the parking lot and then and extra 20 mins to drive because of the bus strike. OH Ottawa is going to He11 in a hand basket!

lol. no i started in october, and then you guys got me sidetracked
but i am done now and waiting for them to be approved. takes a couple of days, then i will email them and ask for a can g/c
there's always one thing left to buy.
so i gave up on the poinsetta flowers. i could never get out to get the green wool, and i shoulda started earlier, cause xmas and me don't get along. i am super stressed.
so i did up giftbaskets. yesterday 2 cans of nabob coffee and 5 coupons for $2 off came from my bzz kit. so i ran to zellers and bought 5 cans of coffee. reg 5.49 on sale for $3. so i paid, yup $1!!!!
i had 4 coupons i traded for toblerone, so i used those. and went to dollar store and bought nice mugs. (like coffee house type), put toblerone in mug. put with coffee in dollar store basket. done up nice in snowflake cellowrap with fancy red/gold see thru ribbon, and a plastic berry sprig. ds is making them mini scarves for their teddy bears (everyone owns a teddy i don't care how old you are), so i wrapped that around their mugs.
we also have this newfie recipe to put in their cards (newsnake, kaela, and newfiescreech go check your visitor msgs)
YOU ARE A CHRISTMAS CAKE
(newfoundland christmas cake recipe)
1 cup of butter of faith--to make life run smoothly.
1 cup of sugar--life needs it's sweetness
5 eggs to make it light--this is prayer, which uplifts
1/2 lb of nuts--humor. Nuts to crack like good humour--be sure they are clean!
1/4 lb of cherries--colour the cake like music on a dull morning
1 lb of raisins are old friends, always a delight
1 lb of currants are new friends, always interesting
1/4 tsp of allspice puts tang in it like initative
1/4 tsp of cinnamon is ambition
2 tsp of baking powder to make it rise. this is the holy spirit
1/2 c of pure fresh whole milk--the perfect food which is the word from god
1/2 tsp of salt called wisdom
3 c of flour sifted finely to fold the whole cake together--Love blends all life into one
Mix all well together and bake in the slow oven of experience. When well done, allow to cool. Add frosting to surround it with beauty. Add red candles to light for all to see; then slice the cake and share with others.
other than that..i have 2 presents left to buy, and stocking stuffers.
ugh, we got a sicky chickey
PPPPPpppfffffffffffffft
we saved you from the abyss not to long ago, now it's your turn to lassoo them in.
did it work?

Had emailed Wal-mart with complaint about the last time I was in and using coupons, and the way the cashier and store manager was. This morning got phone call frm head office, was shocked, wanting to know exactly what happened, who cashier was, apologized abunch, said they takeany coupon as long as the date is good, etc.
Didnt offer anything, but nice to know they took me seriously and will be talking to the cashiers.
