Okay, the weirdest thing happened today when I was at work. I was working with my client who just lost his wife. I got there this morning and he had brought the 7' Christmas tree down which REALLY surprised me! Every day, as a joke, I would ask him when are we going to decorate the tree??? He kept saying "on the 22nd"...lol...so, this morning it sort of caught me off guard! I noticed he was wanting chicken baked in the oven with honey garlic sauce. That was also different as he usually wants his chicken in shake-n-bake style. I said you'll really like the chicken this way, it makes it really nice, juicy and tender. I said I have never made the chicken for you this way before, but I have made porkshops in the honey garlic sauce.
So, to make a long story short, we decorated the tree and we were saying how Celeste (his wife who just passed away a month ago) would NOT be happy to have the tree up on December 2nd. I said it's okay, it's up to you to decide now when you want to put the tree up and if you want it up now, that's greatSo, I went into the kitchen to set the table and get the dinner into the plate for him and when I opened the cutlery drawer I gasped! Celeste had this favorite fork of hers that only SHE used. Nobody else has wanted to use this fork as everyone knew it was HER fork. It was a smaller type fork (I prefer those too but I always bring my own fork for my lunch). So what I observed was 3 forks neatly laying on top of one another but the head of the fork was in the fork side part and the hold parts of the 3 forks were neatly laying in the knife part allowing me to see the fork Celeste always used. I asked my client if he had used her fork and he said no and I showed him the forks. I said did you do that? He said no!!! I said well, either Celeste is really upset that you've put the tree up or she's wanting to taste this chicken as I've never made it here before!
It TOTALLY freaked me out!
Just had to share!

ty amycrows, i'm sure you could do a reasonable stick figure LOL.
pf: creepy. but maybe he did it unsubconsciously. my mom went kinda funny after one of her closest friends passed on. she argued with me my dad loved mushrooms and she cooked them all the time for him. dad was deathly allergic to mushrooms and ended up with a severely swollen head and pains and sent to emerg on at least 2 accounts. plus she has no clue how to cook them.

Yes, it's weird! I hope she sends more signals
It didn't "spook" me at all. I've had my mother speak to me on one occasion about a year after she passed on. I think it's cool that Celeste did this
Andit,
So glad to hear you had an awesome trip! Now hope you get lots of rest soon!
Picture looks great NS!
Thanks for all the words! Tried to give rep but it's not letting me give a whole lot. I hate this new rep system

Petite that is really strange, kinda spooky. Guess it made him feel like his wife was trying to communicate with him in some way which is a good feeling.
NS you are awesome, very talented. Wish I could do half that well. Did you do most of that freehand? I couldn't remember what you said yesterday. I would imagine some of the stores around you would pay big bucks for doing their windows. Great job!!

Wiki updated.
NS, that is beautiful!! Seriously! I wish I could do that kind of thing. What kind of paints do you use to do that with? I have a giant front window that I'd love to decorate with something too.
Hugs to all, kids are being bad bad bad LOL
Gotta go chase them and tickle them or something.
