PF - wow .... creepy story
NS - nice window ... I'm curious to know what kind of paint you use as well ... might be the next project I tackle while the little guy is napping every aft If you can do that nice of a job on the window like that, I'm sure your friend will LOVE the edible bouquet you make
Harley - glad the kitten is settling in quite nice.
Lolcat - you gotta chase and tickle the kids while you still can

It was done completely freehand, but i had to look at a pic to do it. I can't do anything from memory. was going to do candy cane hearts on the bottom windows, but couldn't remember how the stripes went around a cane, and was too lazy too google.
i am "limited" to what i can draw. garfield and snoopy is about it. this was the first time i attempted arlene and her head is screwy, but if you use your imagination, looks like she's resting against garfield
the paints i use since everyone is wondering are the simple poster paints (waterbased) that you buy at the dollarstore. do not dilute them. the thicker they are the more opague the window will look when finished. and warning. it always looks like a stained glass window from the inside, but when u go outside, the image pops. oh and use lots of white. white shows up the best, not the dark colors. just a tip.
oh i have to add. if you make a mistake, just take a tissue dipped in water. and the paint even months later, will wash off with plain old water. the dark colors may harden a bit, but no biggy. it comes off a lot easier than it goes on!
so far i did a halloween one, where garfield (dressed as dracula) is wandering thru a graveyard and odie sees him and jumps frightened in the air, sweat flying. and garfield has an "i'm not amused" look on his face. it was awesome. i got so many compliments on it. best thing i ever did.
then i did garfield as santa, i think odie was an elf, pretty mainstream
but a fun one i did, was snowmen dressed with army helmets on behind snowforts having a snowball fight. ds luved that one.
ugh. keep us posted, i hope it's just a bad sprain. not a fracture. what is wrong with dr's? are they paying for the xrays outta their pockets?
we had a cat like that. actually we still do if you get them going. but we had this one. omg. blair flipped him off the bed. i was like WTF did you do that for??
he's like..I couldn't get to sleep! that damn thing sounds like a motor boat!
roflmao, the cat is happy and the dh couldn't deal with it.
am so glad you found that kitty. amazing he din't run from you after his scare with the boys. but then they say cats pick their owners what a nice xmas present for both of you.
and i vote that you name him NOEL after my rabbitLast edited by NSangel; Tue, Dec 2nd, 2008 at 10:13 PM.
