How old is she & how solid is her obedience? Can she hold a sit stay?
Sounds like she knows to behave while you're watching, but needs a lesson in self-control. Put a long leash (15-20ft) on Kodyac as well as a regular leash. Get a helper to hold the end of the long leash preferably out of sight, while you walk her around on the short leash. Casually drop the leash & go to get the kitten. If she goes for the kitten, the helper tugs the end of the long leash. It should startle her - you're with the kitten, the leash is on the ground, who's tugging? What's going on?
It works great for dogs that like to take off if they see the leash dropped.
I've got a couple of other ideas if this doesn't do the trick. Let me know.
Are any of your pets acting a bit weird since your kitty died? Except for wanting to eat each other, I mean. Kodyac might be associating weird stress with the kitten. Also, are you sure she's not just trying to play (albeit roughly) with the kitten? Does she stare at the kitten, are her ears stiff, does she wag her tail? She might just be confused about how to deal with the kitten.
Hope this helps.

Hope the Toblerone helped. Maybe a hot chocolate with a couple (of hundred) drops of Kahlua to go with it?
Hope you're feeling better. I know with me, the first day, it doesn't hurt that much; the second day, ouch; the third day's the charm when I want to start removing injured body parts.
A few years back the incision from my operation (appendix complications - long story for another day) got infected. I was in pain, so I went straight to the surgeon (the one that stopped me on the way into the OR as I was dazed and told me all the things that might go wrong). Well, she took one look at the incision, said it was infected & proceeded to slice it open with a scalpel. Then she stuck her finger into the hole & dug around. Did I mention that she neglected to give me anaesthetic? There I am, gritting my teeth, when she patches me up & says I can go.
As I'm getting dressed, she says, "I'm surprised you were so quiet. Most of my patients would have screamed."
I swear some people are soo clueless.

Hope the Toblerone helped. You might want to enjoy it with a cup of hot chocolate with a couple (of hundred) drops of Kahlua.
If this is day 2, watch out for day 3 - that's my usual pattern. Day 1, a bit sore; day 2, lots of pain, but somehow manageable; day 3, I want to start removing injured body parts.

Sorry, Rose, the only spare bed I have belongs to the dog. Of course, if you don't mind 50lbs of liver breath lying on you all night long...
As for housing, they usually only pay a daily/hourly rate for extras. Housing is up to you.
When is the shoot? You might be able to find decent student housing if it's after the school year (university exams usually end in April & summer courses don't start til June/July).
Just a heads up - even if it's a 3 month shoot, you might not actually work all that time. I was an extra on one flick & worked a total of 5 days in 4 weeks.
You probably should look into moving to Toronto eventually, though. At the very least, you'll need to find an agent.
Had any luck working on those head shots?
Unfortunately, all my contacts from that world have moved on (it's been a decade since I did that).
Let me know if you make it to Toronto - I'll show you a few places to go for cheap food & cheap thrills.

LOL well it beats sardine(sp?) breath at least
I figured housing would be up to me and ya it was $100-$250 a day for extras, I think it said it was in april so i would probably be able to get something student housing wise, am going to just wait till they call and give me more info not going to get hopes up would love to do it just not sure if i would be making money or losing money LOL it is TO after all and it is expensive...and I do want to move there eventually thats what I am saving up for by working here first for a bit want to know that I can be ok for at least a few months of living without work there since I really cant go to job interviews there I live almost 3 hours away so I would have to move, figure out my way around TO then look for work...
and yes if I ever do get to work on something down there I want the cheap thrills!

Have fun with your Wii.
I got home from Christmas at my parents and our Wii is not working. Looks like there was a power burst while we were gone and it fried the Wii. I have to call and find out where to send it to get it fixed, still under warrenty so that is good, but we got 4 new games and can't play them now.

Rose Rose Rose. I wish I as OLD as you. LOL You have so much time to find the love of your life, don't settle for anything less. Just wait you will find someone. Once you are famous the guys will be coming out of the woodwork for you.
I know you want a good job and one that you enjoy, but in the mean time have you thought of working at er, how do I say this. Well one of the fast food places? You could probably get a manager position if you tried. I know are here the big M is always looking for people and they will let you pick your hours. Just a thought, the way I look at it is there money is just as good as anywhere else.
If i still lived in TO I would let you have the spare room. If you ever get something in the Ottawa area let me know. I live 45 mins out of town, but I work in Ottawa.
Haunish - so sorry that it hurt. Some people have higher/lower pain thresh holds than others. All 3 times I broke a bone all I said was ouch.
NS - I started playing on Winnster last week. My player name is the same as here smb127. I play the slots.
I can't remember what else I wanted to say. Memory loss is starting. Did anyone elso noticie that they are forgetting more? Once I hit 42 things really started to change.
The cold is getting better, of course I am going for my yearly today, why wouldn't I be getting better. LOL I was bad though, I forgot to book my mammy before Chrsitmas and I don't get in until the end of the month. I think the doctor wanted to see the results for today. LOL Well at least I got my blood work done. ME BAD. I have had the paper since the begining on November.
So I should do some work, I have to leave at 10:30 for my appointment, and depending on the time I may or may not be back to work.
