Air Canada is having a seat sale right now. I can get my tickets to Vancouver for half price. Finally, something is going my way this year.

Both the "Snowballs" and the "Squirt Gum" I found at Sugar Mountain
in Kitchener - alas I don't live there anymore. This candy store sells
tons of vintage candies familiar to 'older' people lol However what
we would remember as penny candy is now well over $1 but sure is a
treat once in awhile. Remember liquid filled waxed cigars? Gold nuggets
in a pouch? Licorice babies? Cigar licorice with the red dots at the end?
Pixie stix? Bazooka gum? The even had itching powder. If you have
this store in your city, it is surely a must visit.

OH NS so sorry to hear about the repair costs - cars may be a
necessity but can surely be expensive to maintain.

we have the freak lunch box, where if you send your kid in with $20 (stupid dh) he'll come out with a pack of garbage pail kids, a handful of candy and some useless thing, with less than $2 change.

here it is:
package of phyllo pastry
250g of ground italian sausage
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup monterey jack , shredded
2 green onions, chopped
1 egg, beaten

Cook sausage, drain fat, let cool a minute then stir in cheese and green onion. Mean while roll out the phyllo dough divide sheets in half, cut each in 5" squares, will have some leftover. Place 2 heaping tbsp. into center, wet edges with water, fold in half, press edges firmly. Place on ungreased baking sheet, when all done brush with beaten egg , and sprinkle with paprika or cayenne(we did paprika). Bake at 400 for 15 min.(We also added a bit of parmesan into each and sprinkled some on top)

I think that pretty much it, we loved them, was the first time I made it.
