I can't believe how cold it is here this morning and how warm it is supposed to get by Saturday. Warm is nice BUT with warm, rain, and very frozen ground we are going to have flooding! Oh the joys of winter !

I made sausage and cheese empanadas for supper and they were amazing. Will definately be makinghtem again. i think I will trying them again with chicken.

here it is:
package of phyllo pastry
250g of ground italian sausage
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup monterey jack , shredded
2 green onions, chopped
1 egg, beaten

Cook sausage, drain fat, let cool a minute then stir in cheese and green onion. Mean while roll out the phyllo dough divide sheets in half, cut each in 5" squares, will have some leftover. Place 2 heaping tbsp. into center, wet edges with water, fold in half, press edges firmly. Place on ungreased baking sheet, when all done brush with beaten egg , and sprinkle with paprika or cayenne(we did paprika). Bake at 400 for 15 min.(We also added a bit of parmesan into each and sprinkled some on top)

I think that pretty much it, we loved them, was the first time I made it.

OMG that sounds like it would be really tasty... I can't make dough
worth eating so the phyllo would be a much better alternative for me!!

I love snowballs. Haven't had them since I was a kid.

I went back to the British Store and bought more - omg I ate 2
boxes in less than 3 days (4 in each box) Not going out again
till Saturday, I'd better stock up.

Thrills - oh I still love those. I don't chew gum but I suck on 'em
until the flavour is gone. They have them at Bulk Barn and I keep
a candy jar full all the time. It's an acquired taste LOL

things that I still like from my 'kid' days. My son-in-law says
they taste like soap. Luckily there must be enough of us to

So I played Bingo on FB this morning and Misty went to visit all her furry
friends to say "Hello" and they are all doing well I might add.

It's just a useless dam box that came in a mystery box I bought - a waste of coins.

I registered at the forum that is listed on the left side and have won prizes - 1 won a pink fridge, a red chair, waiting to hear from someone - either getting a princess bed (lots of $$) of a bathtub, a mystery box that had a couch (think I sold that one since I had one) and waiting on a couple smaller wins (a duck and a table or something) - worth looking at - it's even more addicting than playing with the pet - poor pet starves while I try to win
