Wow! Thanks for all the words! One of these days, I`ll be able to give rep again.

Zoodle - very nice poem, love it.

Racefan - 1/2 price flight - sounds great!

Haunish - good luck with the pup. If you need any tips on training, let me know.

LolCat - hope you feel better soon, the flu is no fun. & Happy Anniversary.

NS - Sorry your day went so badly. & ouch, that is a lot for repairs. We used to have a car that was a dream to drive...until a month after the warranty ran out. That`s when it decided to stall in the middle of intersections. 5 months & $2k later, we sold the blasted thing, it was too dangerous to drive (the mechanic thought I was nuts until it finally stalled on him ).

Ricki - only 2 hours wasted, um, I mean spent at the specialist? You`re doing something right. Mine usually go 3 or 4 (or longer). And, ya, they like to keep asking the same thing over & over (I`m convinced they like to hear the sound of their own voice).

I`m leaving lots of people out, I`m sure, but my memory is going too.

Thought I'd update everyone on my friend with the Thyroid issue. She was going to take time off from her crazy job, but the Dr would only give her stress leave - wouldn't believe there was something physically wrong cause the bloodwork said she's fine (she's not, I've known her more years than I care to mention & can tell). So, she's still plugging along. Yesterday, she had an allergic reaction while at work, so I went with her to the dr (this is rxn #4 in as many months). At least this time the dr took her seriously (last time her dr was away & other dr said she had an insect bite). Dr sent my friend to a dermatologist (I would have thought allery specialist would have been the way to go?), who was actually really on the ball. I was sooo impressed. Dr refused to speculate what it would be (fair enough) & took a biopsy of the hive (my poor friend freaked at the word biopsy, then had a bad reaction to the local anaesthetic, but eventually was ok). I didn't get home til after 8 last night & went to bed soon after. Tried to get on here, but just didn't have the energy. Poor girl's so dedicated, she's actually working today.

If anyone has prayers to spare, she could use a few.

On a diff note, today is my 2nd anniversary of becoming a cat person. My mom keeps reminding me that Quincy was a much better cat when we thought he was a girl.

Gotta go to bed now - up at the crack of dawn (actually before dawn) to an 8am appt with my friend (dr only seems to listen if there`s a witness, sheesh!!!).

    Good MOrning everyone.

I was not lurking I was reading. If I had been lurking you would not have seen me. LOL

Thanks for the words everyone - I gave up rep were I could.

Star - LALALALALALALALA hands over eyes - I didn't see what you wrote. (did I ever tell you all on here where I work!! I work for that mean nasty agency that everyone hates at this time of the year. LOL)

OK I am P Oed at the EX again. What else is new. He tells the DD that he is signing her up for soccer in Russell without even talking to me about it. It is 2 nights a week and Russell is 20 mins from my place. OK I know not a big deal, but there is soccer in Chesterville too and that is where I live. Why do all the kids activies have to be in his area. I am going to make him promise that he is going to bring her to train her 4H cow twice a week if he wants soccer in Russell. Otherwise she is doing soccer in Chesterville. We have joint custody so he should be discussing this with me before hand. He just can't get that though his thick skull!!! Grrrr
