lol seek
Your very welcome NS. I thought it was adorable lol wore it around a bit but knew I wouldn't make a habit of it so looked to see what it would sell for lol think it was 16 coins, was kicking myself for even thinking about it since it is so unique. He's welcome to do whatever he wants to with it just wanted him to see it, really mad at myself for not sending him the tire shirt or paper bag shirt although I've gotten the paper bag shirt twice now in mys. boxes so if I get it again I'll send it on to him. The watermelon hat just looked stupid didn't care for that one. lol I want a fridge, stove and things like that not silly hats!yes this is still Points and Prizes. Know what you mean about the rules I couldn't make heads nor tails of them which is why I missed out on the stove, the guy giving them asked me what it was I wanted apparently you put it on the msg when you added them to FB instead I put it in a post. Unfortunately I didn't see his question until it was too late

i said kansas. not arkansas. i wouldn't do that to ya!
sd: that's too confusing for me, am staying out of the forums. but that means everyone else has a better chance.
i just flipped of emails that my mom's 2 accts rec'd in regards to those points being issued end of january (they weren't) so i sent the emails back to show them that they did say they'd be awarded. now i can't find no such emails on mine or dh's acct
but if one should get them, we all should.

Ok, since you have nothing better to do (heavy dose of sarcasm here), here's your homework to get the dog to realize she must obey or else. This is going to sound stupid, but it will work. Every morning, measure out how much food she gets for the day & put it in a sealed container, then put the container in a cupboard in your bathroom where no one else can get to it. Every time you go to the bathroom (yes, every single time), bring the dog with you. Either call her to you or put a leash on her & take her with you. Close the door so the 2 of you are alone. Take out the container & take out 1 piece of kibble. Show her the kibble & tell her to sit. As soon as she does, give her the kibble & say Good Girl in a high pitched voice. That should make her get up. Repeat the process. Once you're finished doing what you have to do, container gets put away, dog gets to leave, until you have to return to the bathroom. It might only be 5 pieces of kibble, but you have to go back there at some point, right?
So, while you're in there doing what you have to do, she's learning. Should see an improvement in about a week, where she starts to realize that you are actually in charge & she has to listen. Unfortunately, there is no quick fix. Even with a trainer, it takes time.
Can you give her something to occupy her in the meantime? Bones, chew toys? Do you have Kongs or their equivalent? Basically hard rubber toys with a hole in the middle? It will keep a dog occupied, especially if you put a drop of peanut butter right in the middle of the toy where it's hard to get to.
Can't do much about your old cat, since it could be dementia, & quite frankly she probably thinks she deserves to be allowed to scream at her age.
The black cat waking at 3am, the only way to fix that is to completely ignore her. Years ago I babysat my friend's cats, whose favourite game was to pounce on the human at 4 in the morning. I knew it was coming & luckily I'm a light sleeper, so when I heard them racing, I shut my eyes tight & held my breath & didn't move. They pounced, I didn't react. They pounced again, & I stayed still again. They left, not very happy campers, cause I didn't play the game - I was supposed to freak out & toss something & chase them. They came back a half hour later & tried it again, but I stayed still. Man, were they annoyed. They tried it once more during the week I was there, but realized I was too stupid to play the game. My friend couldn't believe they were so well behaved when she got home. That lasted all of 3 days, until they tried it & she reacted. That's what you get for not listening to me.
Too bad I'm not closer, I'd love to help.

lol they'd have a blast with me. Lot of times I'm up at that time of day but if I'm asleep I am such a sound sleeper they would get me every time they pounced. I only sleep a few hours at a time so got to make those hours good ones and could sleep thru fireworks if it was before pain started waking me.

andit, i wish you were closer! and if you seen my bathroom, you'd know it's too damn small for this retriever and me! i can barely get in and turn around.
we tried training them with treats before, but what they do is this
they will sit, but as soon as you go to give them the treat, they get back up and snatch it before you have a chance to pull your hand away! sneaky beastturds i tell ya.

Thanks for all the new words. My grandkids have been with me this week and I haven't had time to look for anything.
