Did the caller sound young, 20 something female with a heavy accent? I didn't get the name of the company either, but I do remember responding to a phone survey last week about asthma. Maybe they gave the grill away to someone else, which is why they didn't show at my place & why they didn't offer it to you?

I'm glad they didn't show up on my doorstep, the killer cat would not have let them in anyway, the dog would have led them to the silverware & held the door for them.

I actually had a good experience with a timeshare, of course I got it directly from the hotel while on vacation & saved a ton of money when I was younger & going to the caribbean every year. Sometimes I miss my old life.

ne ways the thing for which we went wasnt time share but something similar, we were new in the country{just immigrated a year ago} they called for free lunch and seminar , ofcourse we were so naive , infact we were having lunch they send an agent who was from the parts of our native country{thats what they did for every couple there}, he said you guys are new so this wont work out for you say you cant do this and leave after lunch , but how could you leave without even listening to them after free lunch

then they had a presentation and then individual sessions , after telling us about all the features they said it will cost us 600$ a month , we said we like the programme but its too costly...............when they dropped the prices to almost 100 $ then we realised we are getting in to trouble {5 agents were surrounding us}. we almost ran for our lifes.

so I get a call this evening , from I didint get the company name, but the lady said i filled up a form saying no one has asthma or allergies and smokes in my home......and I have won thier daily draw, set of 7 set of knifes or 3days 2night stay anywhere in north america. I said i will take the knives, then she said they will come tomorow evening at 6 to show thier product {which i can recommend , to ppl I know have allergies} and they would give me my gift


now not so happy about it , quite sure someone will try and sell something

i had the same thing a few years ago, telling me i won something. then get to pick between 2. i said the unicorn. ok, so when can we come in and do the demonstration? never. so no unicorn. i hate those types of calls.

NS -- My Winter does that to me too! We'll be out at the mall, and start saying really loudly how I didn't feed her, and how she's SO HUNGRY. She thinks that it will make me run to a fast food place, but she's so wrong! LOL... I think it is because DH takes her to fast food whenever they go out together. Like Bonny and Clyde, those two. I am gonna PM you about your milk problem in a sec. Oh and I'm on Swagbucks too. Seeing if I can be a crazy enough swagbuck-er to get DH a PS3 eventually. hehe.

we made that mistake as new parents. we were rushing to get him to this or that activity and feeling guilty HE never ate, so we'd stop at mcdonalds. well, evenutally the kid figured out if he din't eat supper, or claimed he din't like it, it tastes bad, whatever he would get to mcd's. we clamped down on that one! now it's eat your dinner or wait til you GET HOME!
