Congratulations, Star! So when do we all get to come over for dinner?
Last year, my friend invited me over for a BBQ, & I ended up having to do the cooking. I made grilled zucchini. Yummy. Just slice thinly long-ways, & marinate in oil, vinegar & minced garlic (or cheat & use Italian salad dressing). Place on grill for a few minutes each side, then a nice side dish. Or lunch.

Come for dinner anytime!
Anyone wants a good recipe for thousand island you'll never buy store bought again.
Thousand Island Dressing Southern Style
2 cups Mayonaise
2-3 hard boiled eggs, chopped
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/2 pickle relish
1 ounce minced onion (I used a couple 2 tsps)
2 1/2 ounces chopped fine pimento (see note on pimento)
I add some lemon juice to mine like it tarter then the recipe calls for.
Blend well and refrigerate overnight (you may add a little milk if you want yours
thinner).
Note on pimento: I bought pimento, I paid for pimento, I brought pimento home.
I could not find pimento. I could not find it in my house, I could not get it from
a mouse. I could not find it here nor there, I could not find it anywhere!
Therefore, I left out pimento. I couldn’t tell a bit of difference, either!

I found a great deal clorox wipes 75 for $1.50. Made sure that the sign under said that it was for the right thing. Dh paid for the groceries, I went out to the car and it rang up almost $6 and the a$$ paid that said he didn't want to argue about it or spend the time to wait for them to do a price check grrrrrrrr!!! What a dweeb! lol so glad I didn't grab 3 like I almost did.

Hey everyone!
My older daughter just loves superheroes. Something she totally gets from her dad and I.. DH went to the little wierd donation-based thrift store near our house and bought this GIANT homemade dollhouse. It had regular sized carpet and all kinds of horrible wallpaper glued in it.. lol.
He stripped it, repainted, and is making all kinds of cool stuff to put in it to make it a giant base for her superhero action figures. I have to post pictures, we are both busy every night making little crap for it out of balsa wood and stuff.Yes we are crazy.
Speaking of dreams, I have INSANE dreams when I am pregnant. I dream of giving birth to kittens (which is actually quite common among pregnant women LOL) I also have terrible nightmares about having the baby and then them mixing the baby up with another one. I had so many of those with Monet that I slept curled up with her against me in the hospital so I knew no one would take her anywhere while I was sleeping. LOL
Rose -- One of the ladies in your house must have some kind of hairstyling product with silica in it. Like the hair straightener that is hard to wash off your handsIf you use a bit of that on your hair when it is still wet, that will help it retain its color a lot better. I wouldn't waste money on the special shampoo if you aren't planning on re-coloring it or touching it up. You can also give it a full rinse with a bottle of flat beer, that helps a lot with color retention
Stardreamer -- CONGRATS on that win! What a nice prize, you guys will be grilling everything in your kitchen on that thing!
