what a ruckus, they're fixing the roof since yesterday.
i thought somebody's gonna fall on us whenever they hammer away.
i didn't know they put asphalt (?) on roofs here. for waterproofing perhaps?
they better finish quick, rain coming soon.

Just checking in. Came home & took a 10 minute cat nap (after 10 minutes of hearing him scream, had to get up & pet him, males, sheesh!). Off in a little while to run errands for my sick friend, hopefully home not too late tonight. I'm already longing for my bed, & it's not even noon yet.

so ds is home this pm. came home all upset. was in incident in gym class, teacher din't see it, he's frustrated, then on way home sum kid punches him in side of face



and not much u can do when u donno who the kid is. but i did email the teach about this am.

so bunch of kewl stuff came from nasa, so that really changed his mood. has 3 d glasses with it, posters, a dvd. wicked.

so had an hour to look at that stuff (i call it science class), now he's doing home ec. (unloading the dishwasher)

NS poor kid, he seems to go through so much for such a little guy...I wish I could give him a hug and tell him life is not as bad as some of the things that are happening to him...breaks my heart I swear!

ya, and next year he has to walk 20 mins away. this school is only 1 blocks away and the punch in da face happened 1 block from our house from a kid at a diff school. i dread jr high so much!!!! and i can't walk with him, that'll make him more of a target.
