Thanks for all the words I need to spread some more rep apparently.

So, I had quite the day yesterday I woke up sicker than a dog and was afraid to leave the house for fear of there not being a bathroom around. Mid morning, my dog broke his chain and ran off. Luckily, even though he was a kennel dog for 6 years, he came when he was called. Then, at 4 yesterday afternoon I decided I was going to relax on the couch in the basement, to which I found 2 inches of water on the floor. Sump pump quit again, and I hadn't been downstairs all day to check it.

So, today I have a busy day. I have an ultrasound this morning (12 weeks, no I won't find out yet ), have to do some groceries, and then get in contact with the insurance company to see if they can do anything for the basement for us. Seems to me the previous owners had the same thing happen and it was covered for them, so we'll see .....

? Not me today.

that's wot i was dealing with sheb, a cust service rep that was used to ppl calling up looking for new activation prices on existing accts.

she din't for one second even consider that this time maybe the customer knew what they were talking about.

i told the supervisor, i know it's rare that a customer calls up and knows what they are talking about, but i did! did he get a chuckle out of that.

I have to go through all this again.. cable, phone and internet is in roomies name and she's leaving on the 1rst. Going to get a bundle but looking for the cheapest option out there. Trying to cut all of my expensese. My cell phone's $80 a month and i barely use it at all.

Rebel if u dont use your cellphone a whole lot why not pay as you go or Fido? Both good ideas if u barely use it. You can get a cheap plan with Fido for about $25/mth with alot of mins and services. My sister has pay as you go for all her kids and spends about $15 every 45 days for them

well, since i worked in customer service with cellphones, i can tell u, first off, when is your contract up? u don't want to get dinged for the remaining months on your plan while u sign up under another company. you can always call up your cell provider, and say, hey i can't afford this, i rarely use it, what plan fits? and see if they have the other options too.

always worry about the contract first. that's the biggy. some charge a flat rate (at&t used to be 175.00), but aliant charges whatever plan your on x remaining months in contract. and they will let u drop it to cheapest (about $20 month) til it runs out.

bundling is a good idea. but not with aliant, they screwed mine up so bad, i can't even talk about aliant without horns shooting out of my head.

I used to have a water vac but mine sucked with carpets, now I am hardwood I should probably get another I had bought a bissell, but that vacuum was crap and so am now on the hunt for another vacuum..
