I'm late for checking in. It's been a busy morning. DH is dog sick and won't move ... I hate it when guys get sick. They're such whiners!! I also had a load of ironing to do ... had to get ready for the rest of the week.

My son came home from school one day,
With a smirk upon his face.
He decided he was smart enough,
To put me in my place.
'Guess what I learned in Civics Two,

It's all about the laws today,
The 'Children's Bill of Rights.'
It says I need not clean my room,
Don't have to cut my hair
No one can tell me what to think,
Or speak, or what to wear.
I have freedom from religion,
And regardless what you say,
I don't have to bow my head,
And I sure don't have to pray.
I can wear earrings if I want,
And pierce my tongue & nose.
I can read & watch just what I like,
Get tattoos from head to toe.
And if you ever spank me,
I'll charge you with a crime.
I'll back up all my charges,
With the marks on my behind.
Don't you ever touch me,
My body's only for my use,
Not for your hugs and kisses,
that's just more child abuse.
Don't preach about your morals,
Like your Mama did to you.
That's nothing more than mind control,
And it's illegal too!

So you can't influence me,

Of course my first instinct was
To toss him out the door.
But the chance to teach him a lesson
Made me think a little more.
I mulled it over carefully,
I couldn't let this go.
A smile crept upon my face,
he's messing with a pro.
Next day I took him shopping
At the local Goodwill Store.
I told him, 'Pick out all you want,
there's shirts & pants galore.
I've called and checked with C.S.D ...
Who said they didn't care
If I bought you K-Mart shoes
Instead of those Nike Airs.
I've canceled that appointment
To take your driver's test.
The C.S.D. Is unconcerned
So I'll decide what's best. '
I said 'No time to stop and eat,
Or pick up stuff to munch.
And tomorrow you can start to learn
To make your own sack lunch.
Just save the raging appetite,
And wait till dinner time.
We're having liver and onions,
A favorite dish of mine.'
He asked 'Can I please rent a movie,
To watch on my VCR?'
'Sorry, but I sold your TV,
For new tires on my car.
I also rented out your room,
You'll take the couch instead.

i was waiting for a package from the <>*&^%$^*() courier . i got an email saying they tried to deliver it. like><*&^%$ they did, i was here. i paid 41 in shipping and handling. (well not really it was bought with amazon money but 15 altogether for my order and i saved for it) i hate when they do that, i called and i was asked if my buzzer worked or if i was on the phone. i replied that i wasn't , that their worker lied, that they should give me my order for free. i don't usually get upset but when i do i hop and you can hear me a mile away. when the delivery man gets here tomorrow hell hear it too,, i am going to scream at him.

Aph - how's the kitty doing today? Make sure she gets lots of fluids (broth or the "juice" from a can of tuna diluted with water works great to encourage them to drink).

I won the jan. 2009 allure freestuff giveaway! Fed-X came to the door so I sure hoped I'd won something since I wasnt' expecting anything. Won the Olay Professional Pro-X Intensive Wrinkle Protocol (Age Repair Lotion with SPF 30, Wrinkle smoothing Cream, & Deep Wrinkle treatment). Tried them a lil while ago my face feels so good! Best part so far no itching or rash really should of tried them one at a time and not all 3 until I knew that I wouldn't have an allergic reaction. Got the large sizes 2.5, 2.5 & 1.7oz. Found them for $130 but mostly I found the starter kit which just has 1oz each for $68 for the kit. Couldn't find a kit with the sizes I got but for each one in that size it was $42 each. My face feels so soft! oops just realized this was awful bold!

Son got his gift card we sent him for his birthday. Told him didn't care how he spent it as long as he got himself something with it too lol got himself some socks and a covered kitty litter box, mop, toilet bowl brush & cleaner. lol glad he was able to get the things he needed but geesh that boy just does not know how to spoil himself! Said that the litter box was for him he has to have the kitty's box in his bathroom and it helps a whole lot with the odor. They are in the process of getting the kitten off of really cheap food with lots of filler to a healthier food. Starting to help with the odor and the kitty is starting to gain weight was so skinny. She was a stray dd's friend took her home with her but she just didn't care for the kitty and the kitten didn't care for her. Not sure how anyone could dislike a kitten guess she was just not the home the kitten needed but she's a very happy kitty now and learning to play, she's several months old and being stray never had a chance evidently to play, at first she just didn't know what to do with the toys, now they are having a blast with her. She did have worms so hopefully now she can get to a healthy weight.

wtg Rose terrific win! Won't be winning much since I haven't entered the allure monthly contests for the last couple of months, have to remember to enter tomorrow. The daily contests I used to enter faithfully I haven't been entering either so definitely need to get busy and enter, there are just sooooo many lol. I did start cutting out the ones I'm not really interested in. Used to enter everything I could even if I didn't particularly care about the product. Cutting back on those has helped cut back on some of the time and quit entering the travel ones unless they pay for everything including airfare and meals. Spending money would be nice but at least if they pay for trip in every other way we can come up with a little spending cash.
