Just spent the last 3 hours in the car. Simple instuctions - go to Courtise and pick up car parts for my dad. We couldnnt find the place worth our life - we ended up calling my mom 5 times to look it up on google. We ended up in Scougog LOL If posted wonderful pictures on Facebook of our adventure.

Should have. But then again we wouldnt kow what town we were in. We thought we were still in Coutise - we stopped asked some crossing guard and turned out we were in Clarington LOL

Hi all.

Had a really weird day.

Had lots of fun with the downtown Toronto SCers. They're the sweetest group you could hope to meet!

Then the weirdness started. Got confused with which theatre the play was in, so we were almost late (only had 5 minutes to spare, good thing I insist we get there at least a half hour ahead), so had to scramble & rush off to other theatre. I think I'm losing my mind - I've NEVER done that before!

Play was good, nice music, but certainly not my fav Andrew Lloyd Webber musical (sorry, Rose). My friend thought it was a bit preachy (so did the 80+ ladies behind us, who couldn't understand why they didn't do more than hold hands in 1969, haha).

Coming out of the play, had a hard time getting a cab. Finally got one, & stupid me tripped as I was opening the door & smacked my face. Got a small cut under my right eye & I think I'm gonna look like a bar room brawler in the morning. Oops.

Off to bed soon. Gotta unwind a bit first. Story had a sorta happy ending, at least the hero lived, unlike in the last musical I saw.

so ya, i thought of it after, and i gave mom a call, and said, if you want, why don't you come out to our house monday? that way i can still go to my friends on sunday. she said, oh no i hate your stairs! and then tells me she called her neighbour and asked her to have kfc. (yuck) and the neigbhour said she din't like kfc. (who would on TG?) so they decided on swiss chalet. and get this. my own mother din't say i could come there. sheesh. so i got upset and hungup. called her next day. Tg has just not been same since dad past away. back then it was about family. and he loved it when i cooked.

so now i'm debating whether to cook something for the 3 of us on monday to have for the rest of the week. least going to friends will feel like tg again.
